Very rude service. We went in to the shop to order flowers for a funeral and were met immediately with a rude, abrupt string of questions by a put-off lady: "Where?!" "When?!" "What time?!" Instead of attempting to be nice or accommodating, we got more rudeness "well, this is very last minute." I can work with people who might have supply issues, but I'm not going to work to earn the right to buy from you; you should be working to earn my business. My father-in-law just lost his mother and we left after expressing our displeasure. If we got this much grief after one minute of interaction, we weren't going to put up with a longer customer relationship. They may have good flowers or displays, but it's not worth the bad attitude or service. Note: we just went to another place that is also dealing with lots of demand right now. They were completely nice in explaining the situation and that they'd do their best to get us beautiful flowers. This is how you deal with customers. read more

From the moment I walked into Ann's shop, I felt vey welcome. The flowers she sent for my event lasted almost three weeks and were so beautiful. These flowers sure did dress up our dinner table. Service was excellent-on time delivery and Ann herself checked on us a day after. She wanted to know how much we liked the arrangement and if there were anything that we would need to please not to hesitate calling her. On Friday, Feb. 17th I purchased a boquet of 44 red roses from Ann's and had them delivered to my wife's school in celebration of the 44th anniversary of our first date. Ann's suggestions together with the timely delivery made it the perfect suprise for my wife. In addition to the teachers and staff, many relatives and friends have come by our home to see the massive boquet, and my wife is still enjoying them today. I must have dealt with the same lady only mine was over the phone. I called to place an order for a funeral and the lady was extremely rude. She said they were so busy all they could give at this point was a plant. That is fine, but her tone was so rude and she was rushing me. Acted like she was doing me a favor. I thanked her for her time and let her know I would try to order from someplace else that might be a little less busy. She told me, Good Luck, I'm the only florist in town. Sounds like she needs a little competition. Great place to start a florist business, I guess. If they were kind at all, this place would go out of business. Me thinks they are feeling a little too big for their bridges! Remember you are serving the customer, not the other way around. Might be a good thing to remember!
