I couldn't find any attendants for awhile as I walked around. I went to the rest room which is adjacent to the break room aha this is where everybody is chillin. I then turn to enter the bathroom the smell slammed me across the head like an elbow strike in a UFC fight. I started fanning the air like I had just gotten stuck in a spider web. Now back to the shopping I finally track down some help whose find it now aperatus was not working (operator error). All I need is a bug net, wasp spray, and some mold erase. Finally I just asked a fellow customer buddy showed me to each aisle. He was like yea I know this place I'm here all the time gave me a card and said let me know if I need help. It is so refreshing to find someone who cares about customer service and you leave the store in a better mood than when you entered because of her uplifting spirit. We were returning some dead plants and Linda went above and beyond to help us!! During our experience with her, she was kind and humorous despite our lack of preparation for returning the plants. I recently purchased a riding mower and after it was delivered I found water in the oil. I didn't even start it up, I just returned to Lowe's to refuse the purchase. The person at the counter told me they could "fix it" for me if I wished and get it back to me. That, to me, said they would flush the system and refill with new oil. That may sound good but I don't know how the water has been in the engine or what damage has already been done if someone started the engine for a test. Now, instead of bringing me the same make and model mower I have to return this one then re-purchase the same make and model and wait for a new delivery date. read more

Lowes has for the second consecutive time highly disappointed me. they are very dismissive and unconcerned of customer satisfaction. The idea to say we'll fix it tomorrow is used very loosely and seems overused. everyone in management continues to say I'm sorry but inconsistency continues be it with their processes or the processes of their vendors. I recently ordered materials that took 3 months to get rather than the 7 to 10 days I was told. Then made another that has gone 6 weeks with promises to be here soon but no answers. I will not be put off or dismissed a third time because there will never be a time to misuse my time, money, and trust. Its purely pathetic! read more

I live in Gulfport MS and placed an order online for lumber for $773.00 for delivery. While placing the order it was difficult to figure the delivery option out and properly select it. It has to be done in the "Shopping Cart" by the way. I ordered three different items of lumber, two different lengths of 2x4's and 150 1x4's. Several hours later I received an email notification that my order was ready for pick up. I was directed to the site by the email link and noticed the 150 1x4's were ready for pick up and the 20 2x4's were still being pulled for delivery. WRONG. So I called the local number and was unknowingly connected to INDIA but figured it out immediately when the operator answered. He was polite but unable to correct the issue and stated the 150 1x4's would be rescheduled for a couple of weeks from now, UNACCEPTABLE!!! So I cancelled the entire order but only after I called my local store and spoke to a grammatically challenged associate. She could only redirect me to an online associate and placed me on hold. The phone then rang the online associate who after picking up immediately disconnected!!!! $773.00 gone to HOME DEPOT thanks to Lowes. Gulfport Mississippi has a local saying "Shop local, be Local" and they wonder why people don't read more

After I posted my negative review, a manager from Lowes came to my house and worked with me to get the manufacturer, Atrium, to come out and remediate the leaks. She remained in constant contact with all parties until the issue was resolved. I am pleased to have my windows fixed. read more

LOWE'S DOES NOT CARE! Refrigerator delivered by Lowe's 3rd party delivery service Spirit logistics. Delivery associates caused nearly $1500 in damage to my wood floors and baseboards as well as damage to indoor brick walls. I was promised a reimbursement check by Spirit to repair damage in 4 to 6 weeks. It's been 9 weeks and 1 day since. No one at Lowe's will return my calls with the exception of 1 department manager at a neighboring store. No one at local Spirit logistics location seems to be able to help. No one at Spirit corporate will answer any of the extensions or return messages or voicemails. Sadly, LOWE'S DOES NOT CARE! read more

Called several times to get a price on brick pavers. No one would answer! Terrible customer service. We have built 2 house's using Lowes as our primary supply purchase center. We are currently building a gazebo and camper cover. My husband does the work on the weekends and time off. When we come for building materials there is no one to help him get the materials down or load them on the trailer. Also, They will not let you take the materials that are outside. You have to wait until they bring i materials from out back and load them to he shelves inside. This last weekend it took an hour and half to get the supplies we needed an loaded them ourselves because their was no one to assist. We asked to speak to someone in charge and the guy went to get the "Manager" after waiting 20 mins. and neither the guy nor the Manager came to help. We will be taking our business elsewhere. It's a shame. But, We plan to build another house with in the year. Closer to us but, not worth the stress. read more

On 19 Jan 22 I ordered and paid for 3 pieces of kitchen cabinets from the Gulfport store. On Friday they delivered the two 12 inch pieces but no 60 inch center was on the truck. So I got the call that they would deliver that one on Saturday. Everything sounds good right? Not so fast because the truck rolls up and it looks way too small so I measured it and it's only 36 inches not the 60 inch stated on the invoice so yeah I refused it. I guess they thought I was senile and would sign for it but I'm not that old. So I was told that they couldn't put anything on the truck for next day delivery after 4 pm which may or not be true. I was also told that they couldn't find the 60 inch cabinet piece of which there was 7 at least according to the computer and 2 pieces were supposedly visible to the man I talked to on the phone on Friday when I called to ask why it wasn't on the truck. I called corporate on Saturday and the lady was kind of snobby or something. If the rep from corporate is like that then no wonder this store is messed up. I was also told that they have a lot of problems with this particular store on putting the wrong items on the delivery truck if it gets put on at all. Also on Saturday I was told that there would be nobody in that department all day. On a Saturday? The busiest day of the week or close to it? Also no manager or department head or nothing called me to say they fixed the problem or nothing. I'm sure there's some good people at this store just not the managers or the one in the warehouse at the least. Supposedly it will be on Monday's truck so I will see but I'm not holding my breath nor have I received a call regarding that either. I'm trying to get a refi on my house and until I get the cabinets done they won't sign off on the refi so this is really holding everything up. Attention corporate you have some bad apples at this store so how about you clean it out before your whole bushel goes bad!! Ok on the next Monday Lowes finally delivered the right piece of cabinet which was in their store the whole time anyway. I don't know what was told to the delivery people but even with a dolly and a blanket to put over it to prevent scratches they still hand carried it to the back door to my house. It does look pretty good installed tbh but I stand behind my review. I shouldn't have had to go through that much aggravation to get the right piece delivered. Whether it's a assistant warehouse manager or store manager who btw never bothered to call to ask me about this which is pretty chicken Lowes needs to reprimand him or her. The product was in stock at this store so for this to happen and supposedly tell people that they couldn't find it is negligent at the least. Their warehouse supervisor was on vacation I was told so he gets a get out of jail free card. It does look good I admit. So much so that I have two other end pieces that I need to replace. Also I went to Home Depot looking for a jigsaw and as usual I couldn't get anyone to help me and their available products was nonexistent from what I could tell so I took my happy little butt back to Lowes and I bought it there. In the battle of Gulfport home improvement stores, Lowe's is the clear winner. Oh. You didn't know there was a battle of home improvement stores in Gulfport? Well now you do. It was intense. In reality the battle was less of a battle and more of a epic search for outdoor furniture for this dude. That search led me to many different places, and I ultimately didn't buy everything from Lowe's, but I did get a few chairs here. The thing I like about Lowes when comparing it to other stores is that it seems to be more geared towards the regular person. I mean that you don't need to be a butt crack flashing plumber or thieving contractor to shop here. It's geared towards folks who need stuff around the house. This store had a great outdoor selection. There were grills, patio furniture, patio covers, and pretty much everything you'd need for outside. Having the stuff already built and set up was extra nice. Had I not been able to sit on chairs and determine my feet would reach the ground, I would've never bought them. Service and check out was helpful and a breeze. If I am in need of any more outdoor gear, you can bet this is where I'll come. read more

The Lowe's company has always been one of my go-to for home improvements. I went to the Lowe's in Gulfport for the first time today and there were several Associates working in the store without a face mask on. It was very difficult to get help from the associates they did not know their products. The store was disorganized. Products on the Shelf had been repackaged or taped as they appear to be someone else's returns. I was very disappointed in the store and very disappointed because this store was closer to my new home. I have always shopped at Lowe's over going to Home Depot because it is closer and they usually had good service. However, in the past year the store has totally fallen apart. We ordered a storm door handle 2 weeks ago, was told Sunday it was in but we have gone there 2 days in a row and they cannot find the handle. We have spoken to 2 different people who don't even work in receiving who say they have looked for it and can't find it. We waited over an hour yesterday just to get someone to come to the area. While waiting I looked at other things I wanted to buy (several hundred dollars worth) but couldn't find a big cart to put it on. The few people working were using them all to stock shelves or get things down to put on them. THIS STORE HAS GONE TO HELL! I will be going to Home Depot from now on. read more

I got customer service and ask to cut me a piece of the hose. Well we don't sell it that way you have to buy the whole role. so instead of buying a foot of hose I paid for 20 feet. Sorry that is no way to run a business. Went to check out there was one cashier and it was 11am. Went to find 16 foot 4 x6s or 6 x 6s, but could find none. before coming here this morning checked website and it indicated about 12 available. Decided to get some help, but there was no staff to be found. Went to Customer Service and asked for help in lumber and they said they would get someone. 10 minutes later there was an over head page to help someone in lumber. Waited almost 30 minutes and no one showed. This place has gone down hill, poor service, inability to maintain inventory on shelves, will not becoming back here again! read more

I would like to say that my daughter purchased a new refrigerator and dryer from Lowes. The gentleman who delivered the items stripped the screw on the back of the dryer and when attempting to run the dryer told her there were house wiring problems (Brand new built home). Turns out an electrician confirmed the ground wire was shorting out and flipping the breaker. (Had to unhook the ground wire totally and tape it) One if the guys said the one installing the dryer was "6 cans short of a 6 pack." The put in the refrigerator and said they could not complete the water hook up because the piping was backward and she should not use it. The Superintendent of the housing project came and looked at it and confirmed it was not backward. After all this and my daughter to go to Lowes in Gulfport to let them know how this all went down, and they offered her 20% off her next purchase for her troubles? She had to check out with a roll of electrical tape and tools to also fix her refrigerator door. Now that has got to be the WORST customer service I have ever heard! read more

Well i have been shopping here for about 2 1/2 years and it has been some terrific customer service let me tell you. Only one time I wasn't happy because of a few things but it was right in the middle of Christmas shopping so it was definitely the exception. So today I go in to find something to try repair all the damage that the Gulfport 'Two Men and a Truck' did to my furniture. I had picked up lawn and garden items and was assisted by a very nice man, then went to paint and talked with Patricia. She pointed me in the direction of the markers, told me what isle and where to look. I thanked her. I had to go around the other way because the isle was full and when I got there Patricia was actually waiting for me. She asked me about the damage so I showed her the pictures of my damaged wood and couches. She immediately took me from that isle and brought me to another isle for this dark wood repair liquid and then told me where to go to get the other items I needed that they didn't carry. She was so sweet and empathetic to my situation and I just want to thank her. She knew exactly what I needed and without her help I would have bought the wrong stuff and then become ever more frustrated. Thank you Ms Patricia! You are an incredible employee and I hope you know you made my day. I went home and was able to get my furniture to look a lot better. Thank you thank you thank you!! read more

This is the worst Lowes that I have ever been in ! The help is hard to find and I have had serious issues with the way I was treated last time I was in there by the checkout person ! The Manager was supposed to contact me but never did. I returned my items which were over $600.00 which isn't much I know but went to Home Depot where I was treated much better !! I will not go shop in Lowes of Gulfport never again ever !! If I have to shop at Lowes I will go to the Waveland store where help is abundant and the people that work there are very helpful and nice !
