EASILY the worst Lowes i've been to. Never had this kind of experience at other hardware stores, or even other locations for that matter. They ignore you, or simply don't pay attention. Can't get good help here. mostly they avoid you like the plague then stare at you like you're an alien when you ask for something and even provide the relative information of where you thought it should be and what you use it for. had one guy tell me they didn't thread pipe as he's stood next to the pipe threading machine. the only luck I ever had here was the plexiglass cutting service. the lady was super nice. that's the only time I remembe. held off writing this review for a few years. their parking lot is like a death race zone with zombies and mouthbreathers zipping around like no one else exists. I purchased a Craftsman gas powered weed trimmer with a warranty and management officals played the race card game by refusing to comply with the warranty. The warranty dept. Craftsman, and the store played the ownership blame game for two plus weeks. I was told by management officals to get a RA code for the return. I personally made two visits to the store to return the trimmer. Every time I was told to get a RA code. The NCDOJ had to be contacted for management to DO THE RIGHT THING. Not surprisingly management LIED to Lowers Executive Customer Relations stating that I was provided the opportunity to return the trimmer for an exchange. read more

Worst customer service I've seen from a big box retailer. Watched a contractor try to return 3 window shades and since he did not have the receipt they refused to help him. He explained that he spent thousands of dollars with them yearly. Her response sorry that is policy. He left the shades on the counter and told them he'd never shop at lowes again. I knew him so I told him to check out the new ACE in Dunn as they actually have customer service that is trying to solve problems for customers not create more! read more

Selection has diminished significantly in the last 2 years and strictly self checkout. I don't think I should have to check myself out since Lowe's is unwilling to pay me as a cashier to do so. Will avoid shopping there in the future. This applies to all Lowe's stores. read more

We shop at Lowe's about at least once a week. Appreciate the 10% off discount for veterans like myself. We got new kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops, redid the walls and repainted the interior of our home and deck with Lowe's... and with 8 acres, a barn and two more out buildings and lots of landscape and garden needs, flowers, trees, etc. we shop quite a lot at Lowe's. Again, really appreciate the 10% off for Vets and the reserved parking spaces for Vets too! By and large the people who work there are generally helpful and have the right info. There are a few bad apples but for the most part...great people. read more

There is a cashier wearing name tag that says "FLO" and works in the lumber area. Every single time I have been to Lowes in Erwin I cringe when I see her. She is the most unprofessional worker I have come in contact with in any store. She has a disrespectful attitude and I honestly don't know how she is still hired. Lowes must be hurting for workers because she is so rude every time I am at the store, she is like that to everyone. I almost lost my composure today when I asked a simple question, "do you know the price of these?" and she responded with an unpleasant tone and a look on her face like I was interrupting her snack time at the register. I went shopping here tonight and when I went to leave my truck would not start. Two of the Lowes employees approached me and offered assistance. They jumped my vehicle and got it running for me so I wasn't stranded. I'm sorry that I didn't get their names. This was going above and beyond in customer service. I always do my homework when it comes to home improvement projects, especially the cost, parts, labor etc. As a veteran I have never liked Lowe's Home Improvement since they illegally electrically used a forgery signature at the Erwin, NC location. I have never encountered a problem with Home Depot when it comes to quality customer service. My driveway needs an outdoor drain channel so I decided to go to Lowes since Home Depot is a driving distance. Upon my arrival at Lowes I spoke with an employee who was not familiar with what I was asking for. Therefore, I showed the item to her on my cell phone to ensure I had established concrete communication. She entered the information into the database and told me that the store does not stock it and it would take until February 3rr (2023) to get it to the store. I declined the offer and told her I would drive to Home Depot. Prior to exiting the store I needed to check on a 10 feet PVC pipe. Along with the pipe I checked additional components that were going to be needed. While in the section I discovered that ALL the rain drain channel grates and related components were FULLY stocked in the store. There is nothing worse than a store employee to LIE to a prospective customer especially if they are a different RACE and not a regular  familiar customer or not physically living in the area. read more

One of the best Lowe's in the state. Sure, they're busy and sometimes it's tough finding someone to help you immediately, but the inside lawn and garden associates were extremely helpful. The manager is super nice and the store was well stocked and clean. Will definitely return soon. read more

Unfortunately there isn't a star lower than 1. If you are planning a kitchen remodel stay far away from Lowes of Irwin. Jennie Lund the "Project Specialist" is worthless. She wasted an entire morning of mine coming to my house to plan my remodel. Hardly listened to what I wanted and made sure to keep telling me she was busy with all 4 Lowes locations. She wrote some notes and took some measurements and told me she would have a proposal in a few weeks. So three weeks go by and sure enough she called to let me know she was on her way to look at my kitchen. I kindly informed her she had already been to my house to do the eval and I was waiting on a proposal. Long silence followed by oh yes, I will have something for you this week. That was two weeks ago. Needless to say I went with someone else. Too bad for Lowes too, because I'm a cash paying customer. They lost a 25K sale. Try Trublue Renovations of Fayetteville. Brought back one item (of many purchased every month) for a refund. It was insecticide. Was bombarded by the two employees at the return cube. Sure they wouldn't allow a photo of the ID, but when she said, "But you can't exchange it for cash," I left feeling like something wrong had just taken place. I'm in those stores (Lowe's) often and that was uncalled for. At the very least it's insensitive to a customer. read more

Seriously good luck getting any of the customer service associates to help you! It seems like no matter how many times you go in there to get something, no one is available to help you! They are all either hiding or walk right past you like you are completely invisible! This has caused us to start using small local hardware stores as much as possible! The only time we use Lowe's is when they don't have it, it's after hours, or we need it now & cant take the time to order online! It's great to have a Lowe's near town for your home needs, however I do wish they kept a better eye on their inventory. Several times I have needed something that has remained out of stock for weeks. The store is clean, however, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I recommend calling before you go to make sure they have what you need. Checking online is not usually accurate. read more

Me and my wife was searching for new carpet. We visited Lowe's and got a good feeling at first. Set up a quote and picked out what we wanted. Went back to sign the contract 3 times because no one was there qualified enough to tell me where to sign. Then when we finally did we started feeling good again. We were told the carpet guys would call us 30 minutes before arriving and our arrival time was 9-11AM. They showed up un announced and at 8:30. Rushed in and got started. Then they stopped work and I had a call from Lowe's. I was being told we owe 430 bucks more due to pet soiled carpet. We have pets and they messed up a couple times. Actually we spilled and messed our carpet up. They never said anything about this. Very unprofessional, unorganized, don't keep to their schedule, they couldn't hardly speak good English, free install is a crock and you will be charged for something. I was charged 120 bucks that I prepaid for heavy furniture. We asked if we move it do we get credit, they said yes. That I'll find out once I contact them. I signed a phone when completed and don't even know what I signed. Lowe's Carpet??? No Run Run go somewhere else!!!! I wouldn't even give a star but that's the lowest. read more

At first we were very impressed with Roxy the sales clerk. She appeared to be extremely knowledgeable with laminated floors and very friendly. We had decided on a particular color and type and requested a quote. After we received the quote we went back and changed the color to a lighter color- a different clerk filled out the paperwork we signed it and went home. When my husband went to pick up the material (if you don't pick up yourself you have to pay more) he noticed the color was much darker than what we had ended up deciding on. Told the clerk Roxy, and she told him it was just the lighting in there that made it appear darker. My husband didn't have his paperwork with him and I guess she was too lazy to walk back to computer and double check. When my husband arrived at home and verified with his paperwork the trimmings for the laminate flooring was the correct color. But, the floor itself was wrong. We called them and they wanted us to bring the material back - they would order the right one and we would have to go get it when ready. (heavy stuff, and lots of work to get it from our truck to the house/now they wanted us to do that 2x + take it back too. (THEIR MISTAKE!) we went to the store and spoke with the manager of that dept. after I pleaded with him to correct the mistake and have someone pick up the material and del the right one at extra cost to us. he agreed to do so. The guy that installed the laminated floor seems to know what he was doing and we were very happy with the results. But, a day or so later we noticed that one little pc wasn't perfect like the rest. We are afraid that something may end up pulling it up. when Lowes called to see if we were happy with the floor. My husband told them about it. they said they would have the guy call us. 2months have gone by- no calls. We will just have to hope for the best! its a very small spot. but, all of it should be perfect. it may even be worse if they do try to fix it... the guy finally came back and fixed it. it looks great. read more
