It's hard to get customer service for the most part. Craig in plumbing was very good.

My wife stopped in for a quote on cabinets for kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry room and pantry. Should have been around a $35,000 job for the cabinets and counter tops. Quote came back only for the kitchen. The designer stated she had no time to quote the whole job. If we wanted only 1/4 of the quote, we would have said so. Just a waste of our time. read more

I needed a new gas dryer and went to Lowe's in Dayton. So decided to go ahead and get the set. Salesman Larry was wonderful. The first set I bought didn't have a light in the dryer so I had to go back and exchange them. Decided to go with a color this time had to wait about 10 days. They called and say all my items was in and going to be delivering on Friday. So I took off a half a day from work 9:45 to 1:45 and waited. They never showed up. Started calling at 2. Found out some idiot sold my washer that I had already paid for. My items were tagged with my name and date on them. Told manager I wanted that idiots job because he stole my washer I had already paid for. But Larry is working on getting my set again. They need to fire the person that sold my items so this will not happen again. Highly upset. They better do something outstanding to fix this. They are going to owe me about 8 hours of work. I ordered a washer dryer combo October 2nd Iwas told that it would be delivered by October 19th their excuse now it want be delivered till November 4th is that the vendor that must get their parts from China to build the washer dryer combo from scratch how ridiculous true or not I needed it yesterday fals advertising on their website because they said that they have it in stocks why don't they just deliver it like they promised I ought to sue them for False Advertising! read more

So apparently the hassle free return policy on Kobalt tools isn't as hassle free as it used to be...The staff here is being super friendly, but the new Kobalt/Lowe's policy on returns is pretty horrible and not customer friendly. If I wanted this aggravation I would have bought tools elsewhere. read more

Love the store and it's location! But one manager was hateful and rolled her eyes at me. Then today I come in and try to get more things that I need for work and have to go talk to a manager and guess who it is? Same woman with the same bad attitude!!! read more

Purchased some vinyl flooring for our sunroom. Their policy is to PAY for the job before it's even completed. We had an appointment for install on July 5-6. About a week and half before the install, we were getting ready to leave our home when we got a call, saying they were 10 mins away & coming to drop off the flooring & supplies. We were never notified someone was coming, and the room was still full of furniture. We were told it must be placed inside the home to acclimate to the temperature & to keep the wood from warping in the heat & humidity. We were told even the garage wouldn't be sufficient to store the flooring until install. Because of 10 mins notice, there was no place to put it, so we called Servicepro & were told to refuse the delivery, & reset the date. The date was reset to Saturday, the 3rd of July. Then we get a call from the installer. They told us they had nobody to install on the 5 & 6th after THEY were the ones who made the appointment! We told them we were going out of town & it couldn't be done after these dates, already cleared for this install. They "miraculously" found someone after we told them we would have to cancel this purchase. We got a text the night before delivery of supplies, telling us the delivery was coming between 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. We got a call around 2 pm telling us the delivery was "running behind" They could not give us a time window. Incredibly, the delivery didn't happen until 8:20 PM, & after having to cancel our plans for the evening. Then the driver leaves all the wood and flooring outside in the driveway, after we were told it must be INSIDE to protect it. We called the install center & were told Lowe's was supposed to have someone to bring it in so we called Lowe's in Dayton and spoke to JASON in flooring. He told us there was nothing he could do until the next day when we were supposed to leave for a 4th of July celebration with friends. We said they must come before 9 am, but he said no. We had NO intention of canceling plans, yet AGAIN, inconvenienced by this company that is supposed to be professional. Jason was very RUDE, after being told this flooring was already PAID for & must be protected before installation, he hung on us, saying if we wanted to cancel, we'd be charged a restocking FEE! They can't restock it, because the next morning, I took a photo of the puddles of rainwater that had fallen overnight on both the flooring and the wood panels, ruining them. Plus they have to stay outside for another full day and night, in the heat on the asphalt driveway. We want a FULL refund & will never buy anything that needs installation by Lowe's again. It seems like they've never done a floor installation before! read more
