We bought a $999 stove and a $1400 refrigerator. Refrigerator was supposed to be finger print proof and it also had dents in bottom freezer. They offered a new one but we would have had to pay for it and when they delivered new one they would take off old one. I said that's crazy and they then gave us %10 off. I bought some shelving Tuesday and used my military discount of 10% when checking out. On a $70. plus purchase I received a grand total of $.07 cents. I questioned customer service about it and was told I got the correct discount. My wife checked the rules for the military discount and per their rules I didn't get what was coming to me. I purchased a new refrigerator/freezer on January 16, 2022. I set up a delivery and a removal of the old unit for January 25, 2022 between 1:00 and 5:00 pm. I asked them to call me 30 minutes before arriving to give me time to get from work to the delivery address. They did none of what was agreed on and confirmed with a phone the night before that they made to me. The day of delivery they got to the delivery address just after 11:00 am. They did not call me before hand like was agreed on and I didn't know they were there. I get a phone call from them leaving a voice mail (that says it was a call from Puerto Rico) I didn't answer it because I didn't want to answer a call from Puerto Rico. I found out from the voice mail that it was them saying they were there but waited 15 minutes and no one showed so they left. I called them back as soon as I got the voice mail which was only two minutes after the time they said they had left and the delivery guy wouldn't even talk to me except to say they waited the 15 minutes and he hung up on me. So I called the store and tried to let them know what had happened so they could tell the delivery men to turn around and complete the delivery. They said they couldn't do anything but call the delivery company and let them know what had happened and would call me back. They didn't call me back. I called them again and they said they still hadn't gotten a reply, but in the meantime the delivery men had dropped off the refrigerator/freezer at their store without anybody knowing about it until the delivery guys were already gone. So I called the delivery company and they said They weren't going to do anything about it, but I could make another delivery date and time. All this happened while there was somebody at the delivery address at the time. They had already removed everything from the refrigerator/freezer waiting for them to deliver the new unit. They didn't even knock on the door at the delivery address. They just pulled up and sat there for 15 minutes I guess and decided to leave. The customer at the delivery address is not happy and neither am I. We both now are going to have to set aside some more time from work for the new delivery date and time. Neither Lowes or their delivery company are suffering the cost of their mistakes. Just us the customers. Very disappointed to say it mildly. read more

We purchased an oven from this store a month ago. It was on the floor and marked down by quite a bit. When my husband asked why it was such a good deal he was told that someone else had bought it and returned it saying it didn't work. The employee said the store tested it and it actually worked perfectly and was in fact still under warranty. Great deal, we bought it. The oven never worked at all though. The stove burners would only light with a lighter, and the oven wouldn't heat up at all. Lowe's was called and a repairman was sent to the house. The repairman found that the previous buyers had actually attempted to convert the oven from natural gas to propane, and had not only broken the unit, but made it unsafe to even be attempting to use. He shut the gas off immediately. You would think the company would be horrified and apologetic for selling an appliance that wasn't merely broken, but was a danger to our family. Not so much it turns out. We have gotten the run around ever since, the store told us the manager was on vacation, the corporate office kept pushing us back to the store... We were offered our money back and that the store would pick up the defective oven, that is not satisfactory in our opinion. We were sold an oven that was under warranty and that's what we want. Next we were told to get an estimate for repairs, then we were told the unit can not be repaired at all. Now the store manager says we can buy a new oven of the same model as the dangerous one we were sold, at the stores cost; meaning we owe more money. The company is worried about their bottom line. Christy (store manager) actually told me on the phone yesterday that they were being extremely generous with their latest offer. They sold us an oven that had clearly never been tested, put ourselves and our children in danger, and now want us to thank them for the opportunity to spend more money. Lowe's is not only unconcerned about customer satisfaction, but most alarmingly they aren't concerned about customer safety. I am appalled and disgusted. read more
