I have bought 8 high tunnel hoop greenhouses from Fermin at Greenhouse Megastore and received…read moreoutstanding service. The tunnels were built on a farm with high wind. We put on wood end walls with doors from Lowes and solar fans in the wood end walls. We also put a 2" x 8" rim joist along the base and secured it with 30" railroad ties and connected the hoops to that. We did not want the greenhouse to take off like a huge umbrella. We did not like the 8th greenhouse that had sharp elbows where hoop joined the rising metal post. These tore the plastic almost immediately. We liked the smooth circular greenhouses. If you use solar fans on the end walls, make sure they can cover that much area. Ours were too small, but they still helped a lot. We were able to build ours without tripping county permits, because we put our hoops in recycled asphalt instead of concrete! Great product. Has lasted 6 years with no problems with frame.
