Lowe's is my go to when I feel like trying to get a project together. Lowe's has everything I need when needed and I prefer using the app to search for items. Today I did a pickup and it was an easy process. Checkin on the email or scan the barcode and an associate will assist you. The pick up area is to the left when you walk in. As for prices, the prices are decent when I need something I can fix myself vs calling a professional. read more

In preparation for bad weather I stopped in to pick up a thing or two. The few times that I've been here I've had good customer service. I always have to ask for help locating an item and they are happy to help me. As far as I can tell the they have a very good selection of items to choose from if not in store then they will look it up online. I would say that the prices are fair and i didn't experience any hassle with returning items I didn't want. read more

Over the past few decades, I've probably shopped here less than a handful of times. The only reason that I force myself to visit Lowe's, or any of the other big box hardware stores, is if my locally-owned hardware store down the road doesn't have an item that I need. Unfortunately, this was the case, recently. There was zero assistance from any floor employees at Lowe's. In fact, the only two employees who I spotted were both monitoring the self-checkouts and customer service area. After hunting for several minutes, I finally found what I needed to buy. Self-checkout was fairly straightforward and efficient, so I suppose that it made up the time that was wasted earlier on my scavenger hunt. The price that I paid wasn't too out of line, but I would have preferred to have made my purchase from a local retailer, instead. I certainly wasn't impressed seeing two piles of differently-colored automotive shatter glass in the Lowe's parking lot, either. Two-and-a-half stars, rounded down to two stars for their lack of tidiness and almost nonexistent customer service. read more

I need to replace my stove top. Called yesterday to get instalation and warranty information I ordered so I could understand the process. Eight calls at 15 min a call and never talked to the appliance department. Never was able to talk to the Customer Service Dept either. Its been 19 hours and they have not returned my call. I cannot believe how bad their CS is. What if I needed repairs. Is this the response I should expect? read more

My wife went to purchase the last of the tile we need for an ongoing renovation. She was told at checkout that because the tile was discontinued, they will not sell it to her. They were very rude about it as well. How does a store refuse to sell its product? Shouldn't they be happy that we were buying up the last of the discontinued product? We will not shop at this Lowes anymore...sad how far downhill it has gone. read more

After joining the legions of retailers too pansy to actually confront suspected shoplifters, Lowe's near the Wolf River went full stupid. They locked even their inexpensive tools up behind plexiglas and padlocks. I swore that I'd never go back - but I'm a creature of habit. Today while I was near there, I decided to give them another chance and stop in to see just how inconvenient the 'new system' of buying tools there really was. I needed a screwdriver. Holy crap - I was in luck!! Not only was there an employee right by the cabinet with the screwdrivers but he was already helping some old guy get a screwdriver out of the SAME CABINET. I couldn't believe my luck. Before he closed the cabinet, I reached in to get the one I wanted. I heard him telling the other guy, "Well, I have to walk that screwdriver up front for you." I wheeled around and didn't even touch what I was about to pick up. I looked at him and said, "You're kidding - right?" He said he wasn't. I spun on my heel and said that I was done with Lowe's and their crap. Let's unpack this, shall we? Not only do they have to get an additional employee involved in selling you your crap, but after you pick it out they don't trust you to take ONE SINGLE SCREWDRIVER to the register without presumably shoving it in your underwear and walking out. Nice job at customer 'service' lazy Lowe's corporate. Next thing you know, they will expect to see your vaccination card for the disease du jour. I am DONE with Lowe's. PS. Just up the road less than 5 minutes away was Germantown Hardware. Guess what they had? Screwdrivers that you could actually TOUCH and walk to the register yourself. Someone at Lowe's corporate needs to study how old grocery stores worked in the early 1900s before Piggly Wiggly let customers pick out their own items. Please pay attention to your customers. I made several calls and couldn't get through pass the AI auto attendant. I even tried to ask for a Manager, but I was only directed to an "Associate." I held on several calls from an "Associate" but no one ever picked up the phone. This happened after I had attempted to work through the VM prompts. I wanted to know if they had any Pine Straw, but my question was always answered that they had wheat straw. This experience has made me realize why I will always shop local. About two weeks ago we bought a new dishwasher from this Lowe's. The salesman was very helpful. The installer arrived in the time slot he said he would. The install went ok. He said the connection for the dishwasher was bad and just happened to have a new one in his tool box. He changed $25 for the part ( it's $10 or $11 at Lowe's ). Then he changed $35 labor to put it in. Well a plumber would be more than that so of course I said do it. I thought and still think it was a scam but I wanted the dishwasher hooked up. So I paid the $60. Today the kick plate came off. I emailed the salesman. He said if I needed anything to do that. He ( salesman ) got back with me. He needed a little more info. I gave it to him. After waiting about two hours, I made the repair myself. I did not get my $135 worth. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about two Lowe's employees that I have recently dealt with at this location. As an overnight refugee from hurricane Ida, we were seeking a gasoline powered generator to take home to Louisiana with us. The order was hopelessly snarled online and we were in danger of getting left out, as generators were going fast. At this point, Sarah from their customer service, secured a generator for us, pulled it from stock and told us we could pick it up immediately. Upon arriving, we couldn't call in for curbside pick-up due to a problem with their phone system, but John (who was delivering curbside for someone else) saw we were having a problem, found our order, and had it out to us in five minutes. Thanks guys! read more

In 2016, I had Lowe's install a new roof on my house. In 2022, 2 leaks developed. I contacted Lowe's for some quick support, but soon found myself getting referred to an automated answering system with no way to communicate with a real person. I can't determine if I have a warranty or not, because their answering system has no human interface. I wish I had never done business with this company. read more

Do NOT use Lowes for flooring install package bundle unless you like delays and aggravations!! Awaiting Corp Lowes' input re compensation plus still no prepaid carpet install. For purchasing ur basic home supplies, it's fine with helpful assistance. I will update once I finally obtain an actual complete install. Two years ago a good double oven and low profile microwave prepaid install bundling here, led me to recently purchase two flooring install bundles: tile and carpet. 3 weeks past my supposed 2-day tile job, tile's finally laid and drying with Lowes having LOST MY TILE ORDER (ordered at SAME EXACT TIME & register & salesperson) as carpet, took 5 hours trying to gather job supplies bc they tried shorting me prepaid items causing the first week install delay!! I had to go to store w ppwrk & Lowes even sent full order list to installer. Hello?! Mid-install attempt #2, we discovered Lowes did math error from estimator rec and didn't sell me enough tile, off to Lowes AGAIN to buy more tile and had to beg for my discount! #3 Connector line sold too 7" short caused leak requiring extra qtr round re-install & Lowes gave WRONG PARTS (not paid kit) to install toilets as well. Off to Lowes again and then received TERRIBLE ATTITUDE from front CS lady basically saying I didn't buy them there bc she couldn't pull up my order. ‍‍ I know the flooring mgrs Rita and Chris by sight now and they know me. Both Flooring Supervisors esp Chris been doing his best to overcome the horrible Lowes system issues (5 btw per Corp) of losing my order and lack of communication between Lowes and the installer company. Still no carpet install date but I did have 2 guys surprise me at my door ready to install carpet while only half my tile was done. And the carpet and pad were WRONG!!! Are u kidding me?! Called Store Asst Mgr Jimmy Dunlap who didn't even have courtesy to personally call me back! Oh, been disconnected twice when flooring salesperson who sold me the tile & carpet answered the phone & I identified myself. Oh, don't bother with the extra $$ to pay them to move furniture because they'll email you 2 days before they show up that it does NOT include moving any electronics, books, anything in/on shelves, drawers, antiques, breakables, you must strip and breakdown your own bedframes and put them back together again. Bait and swap as far as I'm concerned! If not done by you, then must reschedule install. Grrr. read more

The entrance doors to the lumber area were locked and i had to walk to the main entrance to get in. i walked to the lumber area and there was no cashier. Last night I went to Lowes to look at ranges. I started talking to the kitchen planner and asked her what type of stove would look best. The person that I had an appointment with had another woman at his desk and I smiled and waved. He put me off another 10 minutes. The corporate mgmt should be fired. They gave the Walmart approach of having one register open outside and one inside on a busy weekend. They have hundreds of customers trying to buy thousands of dollars worth of products every hour and they don't allow the managers to staff enough people to even check them out. Lowe's Germantown ..yes this Lowe's is being singled out for discrimination at its finest. Below is what my friend sent to the general manager of the store about he was treated. What they don't know is this man could buy and sell the store. Because of how he was dressed they assumed he was just a thief... The day before he spent a lot of money on the store I was planning on doing so the next day this is his story... Please share this because Lowe's just removed it from their wall. Everyone should know about it. You don't treat people this way. To the manager of the Lowe's on Germantown road in Cordova, TN I went to Lowe's on Germantown road today at 6:00pm. I got a basket and started doing my shopping. I was in the tool department getting some craftsman tools for my tool chest that I purchased from there last night. I had almost a full basket of tools that I was pushing around. As I was pushing the heavy basket around I saw a complete tool set that was on the bottom shelf that caught my eye and I said to myself I need that too. I then stopped to look at the complete tool set and it was very heavy. I kneeled down to turn (slide) the complete tool set box around so I could see what all was in it. Then all of the sudden while I was kneeled down looking at the tool set I saw over my shoulder two Lowe's employees standing over me named Derek and Keith were watching me as if I was going to shop lift the tool set and of course other shoppers started stoping and looking as well. I then stood up and said do you think I'm going to steal this and everyone was looking at me as if I where a bastard calf in a whirl wind. It was a very surreal moment. After they look at me for like a minute or two. Derek the Lowe's employee said you have set off an alarm by moving the box. I then said to Derek I don't hear an alarm and Derek and Keith looked at me as if I were telling them a lie, and both Derek, Keith and customers where still looking at me as if I were a liar and a thief. I know I look like a bum that doesn't have gas money but I am a successful business owner of 22 years. I know deep down in my heart that Derek and Keith where judging me by my looks. But what they don't know is that I could have purchased the whole store and the reason why I didn't hear the alarm on the box is because I didn't have my hearing aids in. I can not hear high pitch noise due to working around heavy equipment and Robert Stockett my hearing doctor who got me my hearing aids can vouch for me. This has terribly upset me as I have never been so humiliated in my entire 46 years of life. Then to add insult to injury I went to get the nice gentleman named Terrance that helped me last night when I purchased the tool chest to tell him what had just happened and as Terrance and I were walking back to the tool department, the two clerks that thought I was a liar and a thief had taken my basket and moved it over by the computer/ register in the tool department as if they had just caught someone trying to shoplift. I told the nice gentleman Terrence that helped me last night the whole story and he couldn't believe it either. Neither Derek nor Keith never apologized to me. They just looked at me. And of course I said a few choice words before I left but I kept my kool, and no I didn't purchase any of the items that I had in my basket. I will never grace the doors of Lowe's as long as I live. It is a travesty that people like Derek and Keith judge a book by its cover and look down on people. I do not like and will not tolerate people who think they are better or look down on people because of their appearance, where they are from, or how they talk. I have never asked anyone for an apology, but Lowe's and employees Derik and Keith owe me an apology. P.S. I have always wanted a nice Craftsman tool chest and nice set of Craftsman tools ever since I was a little boy. I can remember my mama taking me to the Sears store at the Southland Mall so I could purchase a wrench or two from the money that I would save from cutting grass when I was a kid. I spent one thousand dollars on the tool chest last night and today I had around fifteen hundred dollars of tools in my basket that I was going to purchase so I could achieve my dream of having a nice craftsman tool chest and a nice set of craftsman tools to put in my garage at my home but after all this went down today I didn't purchase the tools because Derek and Keith ruined it for me. But I like them too, it's just that Extra step Lowe's took to give me what I wanted. And I went to the Cordova, Germantown and Berclair locations. I do not recommend Lowes for any home improvements. About $7000 worth of appliances for the kitchen and every piece had a problem with it. But the deal breaker was when they missed the delivery date and I was not able to cook on Thanksgiving. Then it took another month to get my stuff delivered. The Kitchen oven had a bad chip in it and it's taken two months since then to get replacement for it. Now that the repaclment is in they want me to do all the work. I spend a lot of money at this store since it's so convenient - but the customer service from many of the employees (not all) is poor - but my main complaint is too few cashiers. Lowes is the competing big warehouse hardware store to Home Depot. The difference is Lowes is geared more toward women, so I prefer it. How? Most Lowes are nice to shop; only on occasion will you find an unhelpful employee. The music at Lowes is great, too!
