We always find what we need. Their selection is always great. You can't look online before you go and see if they have stock in store. I made an order for delivery, paid the $79 delivery charge. The last message I got was at 221 yesterday afternoon stating they would give me a delivery window later that evening. The update never came. The original delivery time was supposed to be 8am to 12pm. It's 1216, the recording now says the order is not ready but scheduled from 9-1. I've called 5 times, the line keeps disconnected, I can't reach anyone to assist me...no one can give me an update. I am so dissatisfied with this non communication. This is unreal to me! I didn't pay $79 to sit here questioning if I'll even get my order today. I will NEVER use Lowe's again! Home Depot is going to be my go to from now on. I had a horrible experience with purchasing a washer and dryer from this Lowe's. Today, their third party rep was supposed to deliver and install them. However, one set of delivery guys stole a package from my front door, and the other set of guys said that they could not find the address and tried calling me but I did not pick up. This is insane! We live in an informational time zone. AI, google, internet, google maps, etc., what grown man can't find a house? I spent well over a $1k on your products, and decide not to answer the phone when it is supposed to be delivered? I won't be buying another big ticket item for delivery from you all EVER again. I have lived in Tennessee for three years, and been shopping at the Lowe's location, which is closest to my home. I have been remodeling a home, adding an addition onto my , putting up a fence, landscaping, and done a ton of business through Lowe's at this location. thousands of dollars to be treated like a piece of crap by their current manager. She is a female, who clearly does not care how her business is being run. As a pro member I have had thousands of dollars delivered to me on many occasions. Each and every time there has been delays by days, and as of today it's late by Calling the store today the manager could not give an adjusted timeframe, which was not even my biggest concern. If was coming today, I was fine with waiting. But while asking her this, and explain that this happens every time I have a delivery. That there's a problem , they can't find my order even though I'm receiving text messages and emails about the delivery. Then I scheduled time off to be here for this delivery from a job. She cut me off, and let me know. I could call her back when I could talk to her politely. I did not swear, I was not yelling at her, I was trying to log a complaint in a very calm tone of voice. When she go on in this behavior, I said, do you often interrupt your customers who are just trying to explain that this has happened before and make a complaint. As she said again, call me back when you can talk to me nicely. And hung up I was dumbfounded because I literally was not rude, but was stating that there had been prior issues. maybe I was supposed to sing to her my complaint, I don't know. But I will say this, I can see why the store is losing sales. Good luck, reaching somebody at corporate, they pass you on a customer service for a complaint. For your email to get lost, and nothing to be done about the current manager, as the event is unfolding. absolutely dumbfounded in the worst experience of rudeness I have ever had a business I have given thousands of dollars . Maybe the Lowe's locations wouldn't be closing if they actually reprimanded management who acted this way. Because this was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. 5/4/24... Had to get lumber for a 16X24 deck. It's a pretty extensive DIY. Last year I built a 5' wooden fence. So I'm always doing something. I miss the mom and pop stores, but they're too far from here these days. I'd have to go way out to the country. There's always someone that stands out as a good employee at this location. Sure there's a few duds too, but each time I've been to this particular Lowe's, there's someone that makes the store look good. Whoever runs the lumber department does a good job at policing the area and ensuring carts are available. They line them up in the wide isles. It's pretty smart. It's hard to keep a place like this looking good because so many customers are scurrying around the place rearranging the product. They grab something and put it back in the wrong place. The public isn't easy to deal with, but these guys seem to work at it. Last week when I went here on a Saturday during a mad rush (bad planning on my part) there was a retired USAF employee that helped me out. I had to buy 60 5/4" decking 16' long. He said to swing my vehicle around the back and he'd help me load it up. He helped and did a great job actually. He even identified some bad boards and put them to the side. Awesome customer service. This Lowe's has some good people working here. Prices are totally competitive with HD. These folks know what the bottom line is and how to attract customers. read more

If you have only one checker during holiday season you should not get 5stars. I understand self check but there are times when you want go to a real person. Apparently I am not the only one because I was third in line with three behind. Self-check was not crowded so that wasn't the reason. The customer at the register had an item which was last one in the bin and no price. It took at least 10mins from when I arrived and several other people in store walked by and no one could get a price for the customer or manager open another so there we stood. I only wanted to buy propane. In the end they made a price for the item so he could buy and leave. After that it went rather well but again no new register. We use this place and love the military discount but c'mon man open another register. read more

I hope anyone who is considering buying floor replacement products from Lowes, would reconsider your selection of suppliers. We would love to tell you about our experiences with Loews. Hopefully, we could help you to keep from making the same costly mistakes. We were out appx 8,000,00. According to insurance inspection, our problems were the shoddy materials and workmanship. My son needed a shower head for his shower and Lowe's was a much better option than Walmart. It was closer, too. Standard big box shop with numerous options and reasonable prices. Just like every other Lowe's nationwide. Like most large stores, the customer seems to get lost in the vastness of their store. In today's visit, that was exactly what happened. It was extremely difficult to locate anyone that could offer any assistance whatsoever. So we just walked around until we found what we needed ourselves . . . plumbers Teflon tape. Surprisingly, this was no where near where the shower-heads were. Store was clean and reasonably well stocked. read more

We went into look at ceiling fans walked around the ceiling department for about half and hour. After we finally figured out how the ceiling fans 20 feet above us were labeled and named, since we could hardly read the model numbers and names, we were able to find one that we wanted. After we picked up the box and started walking to the register, someone then asked us if we needed help with anything! It was a little too late at that point since we found the fan that we wanted. I just had a washer and dryer delivered by Jordan and another associate and oh my goodness.. they did an AMAZING job! They were so kind and courteous, and very helpful. They were so patient and kind with my children and dog. Jordan gave me a full run-down of my washer and dryer, including do's and don't and cool features. I didn't know there was so much I didn't know about these machines! I'm so grateful for their wonderful customer service. Excellent job! I really cannot express my gratitude enough. read more

The Lowe's on Lowe's Drive manager was willing to help me even after hours but told me to call the night manager for this Lowe's on Madison St about my order and they should be able to help me (even after hours). Aundre the night manager answered the phone but didn't want to do anything to answer my question and hung up on me. My order was supposed to be delivered a month ago but wasn't. Then wasn't delived two other days and wasn't. Waited 6 hours today and still no oven. It's awesome not having a working oven for almost a month and now not knowing when it will be delivered. read more

Lowe's on Madison Street is deserving of 3 stars from me. Compared to the other Lowes in Clarksville, their parking lot is usually empty enough that you can find a space very close to the entrance. That's awesome in bad weather, and yesterday when I went in it was feeling like a furnace outside. I parked in the front spot in front of lawn and garden, and went in through that door. I bought a giant pot, and 3 bags of garden soil. During my little look around, they closed the register and locked the gate in lawn and garden....before 5 in the afternoon, on a Saturday, as I was getting dirt from the rack right next to the register! I thought it was very rude and inconsiderate. They knew I'd just walked in that door. So I had to walk the long distance inside to those registers, wait in the long, very slow line (only 2 lines open) and then walk all the way across the parking lot with the heat index over 100, to go to the front row directly in front of the gate to lawn and garden at the very end of the building. Customer service gets O stars, I'll give the store a 3 because they had what I needed and parking would've been great, except for all I said above. read more

Customer service person shows up and helps someone on the other counter as soon as he walked in. This place just gets worse and worse. I know they are stressed but they have a real attitude!!! Absolutely horrible customer service with no common sense of good business from manager Laura. Called ahead of time asked about a perticar item told they had 3 in stock made a trip and purchased the item it had to be loaded so we waited out front for 20 min to be told they didn't have any and they wouldn't sell the display and told me to drive an hour away to another store. I own a business and spend 10s of thousands of dollars a year at Lowe's but never again. Will be taking all my business to Home Depot from now on! read more

I have received great service at the Madison St. Lowes. Their attention to Veterans is wonderful. I shop here regularly and have always been treated with courtesy and respect. Their products are reasonably priced and are quality merchandise. Their employees have been very helpful on the occasions when I have needed assistance. I went to Lowes on Madison Street in Clarksville Tennessee on July 9, 2020 at approximately 6:45 PM to purchase dog eared wood pickets for a fence along with the post and 2x4s. I approached a Lowes employee and asked where I could find the pickets and was directed to aisle 4 in the Home and Garden section. I found the pickets right where the employee had informed me along with the appropriate price of $1.68 an item. After selecting my materials, with care, from the shelves at Lowes I went to the checkout counter. The cashier, whose name was Amie, scanned the pickets and made a phone call, after the phone conversation, I was informed by the cashier, that I could not purchase the pickets. I asked why and could I speak to the manager. Joe Hunter, the store manager approached and told me that they could not sell the pickets because they were on back order by over 2,000. I was dumbfounded because I only had 68 pickets, 6 2x4x16, 4 4x4, post hole digger and a box of screws which I had selected all the items from the shelves inside the store. The manager was not unpleasant as I explained how I found the items that I wanted to purchase. I was again told that they could not sell them. The manager then said that the cashiers know not to sell the dog eared wood pickets. I asked how the customers are supposed to know they are not for sale, when they are on a shelf with a price tag. I left Lowes without making a purchase because the pickets were the main item of my project. I do not know if I will ever shop Lowes again because of the time it took me to select the items only to be told at checkout that I cannot purchase the items. Not real good customer service, how is a customer supposed to know if the items on a shelf are not for sale? Wow! read more
