Sold me a dish washer under the pretense of a next day delivery, they were over a week out after I bought it. Had it delivered so I could install it, the dishwasher didn't work after install. We were told that our dishwasher would be delivered on a certain day, but at the last minute they rescheduled the appointment without contacting us as to what day would be ok for us. Finally when the person came out to install, he was rude, left a mess, and left our gate open. I let my dogs out without realizing it was open. We typically drive right past our Fairview Heights store to come here due to better customer service, excellent garden center, and you can usually find what you are looking for. Today I ordered curbside pick up - 40 bags of pea gravel. I received a text stating my order was ready. Drove over and waited 30 minutes only to be told they didn't have 40 bags. Our last curbside pick up here for irrigation supplies was the same story. What is going on? Is it poor inventory management? Please don't let me order and pay for things you don't have- and for gods sake, don't let me drive over there and waste an hour of my day while you look for products you told me were ready to pick up! I went there yesterday. My dad's lawyer bought me a generator. It had already been opened and there were parts missing. My dad's lawyer called the manager and they said that they wouldn't make it right. They did not. They kept us waiting for hours and hours. I finally left and went home. My dad's lawyer put it on his credit card and because they did not give us a receipt, they said we had to return it and rebuy it and there was some screw up in their computer system. So they have his money, but we don't have a generator. Do not go to this Lowe's. They are terrible. Customer service is the pits. They have a terrible delivery service. Change delivery dates in the middle of the scheduled delivery day and push it off for several days. There is no way to find out what happened. I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot anyday. It seems if i ever have a question someone at Lowe's always walks me to where I need to be for an item and is knowledgeable, and if they are not then they get me connected with someone who has expertise in the area. At Home Depot they just seem to point and are lost when it comes to what you are questioning them about. I do, however, like Home Depot's classes and kids classes they have. This is the closest Lowe's to me so I drove there to pick up a few items I needed. Grab what I need head to check out. I avoid self check out because the woman working there has been rude and mean to me before. I go stand in line and am waiting. When this woman tells me to go to the other cashier because there's no waiting. I don't move I continue to wait because there's literally one person checking out in front of me. Well she's not letting it go, so I think okay fine maybe today will be different than last time. Ummm NOPE. I go over the woman is immediately pissed off that she has to wait on me. She's like I don't know why she sent you over here, I'm sure she didn't tell you I don't have a counter. All pissed off at me. So I'm like fine. I will just go back to the other lane and wait like I was doing. As I'm walking away she's still running her mouth. I'm like you know what NOT TODAY. I sat the items down and walked out the door. The woman who told me to go to her lane tries to stop me and i told her that woman is rude and mean everytime I come into this store and I shouldn't have to take it. I was spending almost three hundred dollars on the items. Now I'm driving two towns over because they actually want customers and are friendly and nice. This woman doesn't need to work around the Public. No one should have to tolerate this type of behavior. read more

I can never understand why when a women goes into this store every employee disappears or when you ask for assistance it is never their department and they call for helping that never shows up. I waited over 15 mins for the mysterious help that never showed in ceiling fans. I gave up and got it myself. I did inform the cashier and she just shrugged. Not good Lowe's not good. Confusing since the site literally said the item was in stock. Friendly staff but not very helpful. Lots of options just none of the ones we were looking for. 0 Stars I ordered a fridge, not knowing Lowes used a sketchy third party delivery company. They guys coming to my home looked a mess and were very unprofessional. My request for them to wear a mask has led me to still not having a fridge. this is day 3 now of my families suffering. I asked them to mask up before entering my home, they asked why and told me they didn't have mask on there truck. I told them store was right up the street they could get some there. I told them COVID and Flu is out here and I didn't want to risk my family getting sick because we have an upcoming vacation and I needed to protect my home. They called their manage and she called me telling me covid is non existent and she doesn't require them to wear mask at all. I explained to her I have to protect my family and wether or not it is required by there company it my home and my preference its required by me. She then contacted Lowes and told them I said my family had covid and they will not deliver the fridge. Day 2 I was told my fridge would come today, and before delivery Tim W. with Lowes called me and told me that they will not deliver because they were told my family has covid. I explained to him what happened and that was not the case he then had me contact Amy Long (belleville east Lowes) I talked to her and explained what the situation was. She was very inconsiderate of the fact that my family and I are still without a fridge, and basically said there was nothing they could do I need to call the third party company. Why do I need to contact them I purchased a fridge with Lowes not the third party company. I paid Lowes not the third party company. I asked her how would she feel if all she was doing was trying to protect her family and was treated this way all because I requested them to wear a mask before entering my home. Her reply was I can give you your refund there's no need to come up here for it. Are you serious!!!! the is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company and I was a loyal customer of Lowes until now. How could you all even have dealings with a third party company that does not respect people preferences. This says a lot about the corporation and who is running things. lowes is the place where i find myself when i need something for the house, yard, or any project little or big.. i love to get my outdoor gear here and get to it! they are really good with giving the military 10% off and will take back anything if you have a problem with it or bought to much.. so the staff has the highest rating for customer service i can give.. they are always there to help and trying to help if i need anything. the store is overall clean and in order. easy to find what you need, and things are in the place they need to be come here for all your project needs! read more

We ordered cabinets for a kitchen remodel last year, it was suppose to be a turnkey operation, the cabinets came in wrong, the next order was wrong, and it is still not done right, they would not deliver all the cabinets as promised, we had to go pick them up, the install department did not manage the project at all we had to, the cabinet people would not tell us when the change orders cabinets came in, we had to constantly call, a terrible experience and still not done almost a year later. Poor service overall, do not use if you want service. read more

We made an appt to get an est..it was 35 dollars non refundable if we don't get them to do it. We got 2 other est 5000 and 7600. First we had to call Lowes and request our est price because nobody bothered to call us. Then they had the nerve to quote us 14000. Which we could never afford. Our insurance would never pay that. I would deem this your typical neighborhood Lowe's. Their selection doesn't really differ from other locations that I've been to. I will say they didn't seem to have quite enough people working during my last visit. I was looking for the right sized hooks to display my extensive Starbucks city mug collection and there was no one to be flagged down. I ended up buying hooks that were too big and had to return them. They did offer many difference sizes, so finding perfect size won't be an issue. Their prices are average, but they do have a military discount. read more

This was a Pinterest project and I wasn't even sure exactly what I needed myself (it had absolutely nothing to do with plumbing).
