Had a load of 40 patio stones delivered by this Lowe's 12 of them are broken. Can't ever get anyone on the phone and their head office only offers 10% refund of their purchase price! Shop absolutely anywhere else for your home improvement needs, their staff are inept if you can even find one. I wouldn't have ordered the stones if I knew they were coming from the worst Lowe's I've ever seen, big surprise it's in Barrie. I'm pretty sure you could get more help and better service from a pile of mos read more

Lowe's Home Improvement - 12 of 40 broken on delivery - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Barrie, Ontario

I will give two stars solely because the gentleman staff on the floor were actually quite helpful and very nice. Although the same cannot be said about Erin the lady who supposedly helps with the registers. Absolutely 0 customer service skills and a heck load of attitude. We said hello and we would like to pay with cash- Instead of just saying "hey guys just give me a minute, I have these others clients to help". She says " yeah you will have to go through me, but I'm busy so you're going to have to wait" all followed up with a scowl as if to say " how dare you come and shop here" . Honestly why did we? Absolutely unacceptable behavior. We decided not to wait just so that we wouldn't have to interact with her and paid with a card instead. She saw us doing it and didn't even bother to say anything except to grimace at us again. Thank you Erin that was a very pleasant experience, guess where we potentially may not be shopping again? read more

I am reviewing the curbside pick up for on-line orders. We have been waiting for over 2 hours for our order. Another customer this morning said the same thing happened to her yesterday. It might be helpful to others to know this before arriving and having to wait so long. The phone lines are also busy, so it takes a while to let them know you're waiting. read more

after 1.5 hour attempting to pick up my order, I gave up! what a fiasco, Lowes Barrie Went to H Depot same day spent 6 minutes waiting and I had my order in hand Long time customer at Lowe's not impressed by low IQ managers. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible experience here. came To the store and purchased a tub with surround and a vanity paid for my order to be picked up the next morning.came this morning and waited 2 hours just to be told that they can't find the surround to the tub. when I told the employee that the guy I was with yesterday spent the time to find all the pieces he told me "well he's not in today" this is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. Horrible customer service. My order was eventually found by a manger who was great. But this all should have been avoided. They should have all orders put together when they are purchased for a better customer experience. read more

On hold for 30 minutes before someone answered, took my order number then put me back on hold for another 30 minutes (I became curious to see how long it would be). Eventually the line went dead. read more

Front line supervisors in the Barrie store should be schooled in proper approach to customers and should not try to be the keepers of the castle . Poor customer service is never a win win for anyone . read more

Female staff provide excellent customer service. Male staff seems to be inept and impatient with female customers. I just needed help finding recycling and compost bins and the sighing and general rude demeanour of an older white male with brown hair was very disrespectful, unprofessional and annoying. read more

Customer service is always horrible there, the older associates are rude, disrespectful and seem be put out all the time. I find the younger staff are better but no one seems to pleased to work there. It's closest to me but I gave up on Lowes after multiple attempts, just not worth the aggravation. read more

Though the stock was acceptable, there is was several weeks wait to deal with the installer. The final price then exceeded the written estimate by several hundred dollars, after which the door was not installed properly, in that the lock was out of alignment and would not shut, (and this is an exterior door installed in the middle of winter!). The installation department told me the installer was closed till after Christmas, and then to get an installer after three days wait for the requested call. By then the door would not shut without two people on either side of it setting it in place. I had to go over the head of the installation department and speak to the manager. I did request another installer be contacted, as the first one said he tried three times and "can't do any better", and the manager did understand and sent me another installer, but the aggravation is not worth the risk of getting poor service again. Even after the job was done, the staff in the install department insisted the lock was the problem, but how is it one installer can repair the misalignment and the install department still tries to blame the locksmith! This attitude shows a remarkable lack of responsibility! read more
