I attended Montco from Spring 2015-December 2018, graduating officially last month in May 2019…read more Overall, it's a great experience. The tuition is affordable and they have payment plans, which is a life saver. They also offer many majors to choose from and many different classes to take, and for those who are undecided the liberal studies is a good major to start out with as they have many classes that are easy to schedule and can persuade you to the right major for you (many classes transfer to other majors but some don't for a heads up) and aside from a few classes I enjoyed every one. I started off in Liberal Studies and ended in the Mass Media major, and the program is amazing! The technology they offer is amazing, high end equipment that beats other schools hands down and the best recording/TV studios around. Not to mention all the clubs, which are great to join. As for the campus, it's beautiful to walk around especially in the nice weather. Most of the buildings are near each other in the main courtyard, only the Art Barn and Gymnasium are a bit away but not too far. Here's a quick breakdown of the buildings. College Hall is the main building where advisers/tuition services are held. If you need any sort of college help that's the place to go. It has two library's on two separate floors, a game room, a conference room for college fairs and other events, a large cafeteria with great food, a piano room and a tutoring center and a computer lounge on two different floors to get work done. There's also many places to study which helps too! Parkhouse is where the majority of core classes are held, and it can get crowded and some of the classrooms are a bit outdated but it's still great and it has a station to get food. The Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is three floors where are the technology classes are held and they mostly all require a student ID card to enter. This is where all the equipment is to rent out and where the TV/Recording studios are, which are all impressive. The ATC also has a food station too. This building connects to the Science Center where all science classes are held. This is two stories and is pretty straight forward to navigate. They have a large auditorium for plays/screenings and it's nice in there, and they even have their own box office! Then there's also the art barn which is where all the art/photography classes are at and its very nice in there too (I only had one class there but walking around the building is fun). The last building is the Gymnasium which they recently renovated. It's quite great in there, plenty of places to work out and hang out as well! There is plenty of parking too, on all sides of the campus so there is no shortage of places to park. If you ever get the chance to walk around campus, I recommend it. Being next to 202 and Morris road is helpful too as it makes the college very accessible to get to. The staff is mostly great. Of course you will get faculty that you won't click with too well but most of the teachers I had were great!! Now for the nitpicks. First, parking. Unless you get there really early or later in the day you'll miss out on a decent parking spot and it can get very crowded and back up midday when most people are leaving. Going out on 202 has a light and going the back way on Cathcart road is fine but Morris is a pain with the traffic (especially going left). They recently built a light here so that will get better. The advisers I all encountered didn't help too much, and the tutoring is at specific times so if you can't make it there's not much you can do. Tech Sevices, where you get all the film equipment is very good but it is closed alot because they are understaffed and the wait could be a while if you don't know where to look to find someone. Other than that, it's very good school to get your associates degree at and transfer over to another school. I very much enjoyed my time there and I dont regret a thing!!

Once the school gets your money they are no help. Never again…read more I am so disappointed in this school

Our first attempt at getting my son's learner's permit didn't exactly get off to a great start. We came back bright and early Tuesday morning around 8:00am and quickly discovered we weren't the only ones with the same idea. The line was already about 30 people deep, and by the time they opened at 8:30, that line had easily doubled. Once we finally got inside, things moved along pretty efficiently. We checked in, were given a number, and waited about 15 minutes before our number was called. The woman who assisted us was pleasant, reviewed all of our paperwork, and sent my son over to one of the computers to take his test. Fortunately, he made quick work of it and passed. We then had to wait to be called up again to finish the process, but everything went smoothly. All told, once we actually got inside, the entire process took just under an hour. That's not too bad considering government paperwork is involved.

My STRONGEST my strongest advice is to read read read and be sure you have the documents that are needed for your type of transaction. I advised this due to personal experience.,lol. Generally speaking, allow several hours. Don't try to squeeze an appointment in before work or at lunchtime. Yes there may be times when it's not busy, but you don't wanna take that chance. And finally, when you get up to the desk inside the door be the first person to say good morning or good afternoon or anything pleasant to the person behind the desk. It's magical you will see and continue doing that with each and every person you have to encounter. Overall, my visit was about one hour and 45 minutes. After the initial check-in after I received my number, I had to see an agent to review my application that I filled out after checking in at the front. Upon Kia's review and payment, I was then sent back out to the waiting room to wait for my turn for photo and photo drivers license. I did not need the real ID. I will say when I got to the photo desk, I was not acknowledged by the agent, but as soon as I said hello, my name is Sue what is yours , again It was magical! Another wonderful experience with Leonora.
