I have two children currently attending this daycare center and at first I was a bit apprehensive but it was in my price range and with two kids full time child care can get pricey. The place is always clean and always immaculate. It is definitely older but not run down. I love the owner Mrs. Joan she is wonderful! My 3 year old is in the pre-school class and they follow a kindergarten curriculm which is wonderful. He has learned so many great things. My children never balk at going to "school" in fact they look forward to it and are always happy when I pick them up. I have no complaints here what-so-ever.

I always feel listened to and like they're part of our team. The school also gets regular updates to the building. There are nice events put on by the staff too. This school is on the expensive side, but, I do feel like I get what I pay for because of the curriculum and investment the teachers make into my son.

I love that's this facility has a curriculum and prides themselves on educating my child. I've seen so much growth since she enrolled. Her teachers (Ms Liz and Ms. Rebecca) are so kind and loving. My daughter really loves going to class everyday. The entire staff (including the admin and directors) have really gotten to know all the kids here. It's a great loving environment. This school offers lots of seasonal activities and events which are really cool. Some even get the entire family involved (I.e. Halloween parade/festival, Grandprarents day) and they even have special date night events where mom and dad can drop off on the weekend for a dinner date. It's just a great place for your kid to be. I have to say, we appreciated the detailed reports we got back from the teachers when they were young, and they entered kindergarten evaluations much more prepared than other children, and continue to excel in school today. The after-school care is great for us, and allows them time to finish their homework and let off some steam outside before coming home. They are also very accommodating of my hectic and ever changing schedule for dropping off and picking up. The building is always clean, and the teachers take pride in decorating their rooms with the latest artwork and projects. There is usually fresh fruit in the hall for the kids to take on the way out, and my kids seem more eager to eat theirs than the fruit we have at home! We came to Just Children after our pre-school aged child was asked to leave her original daycare…read moredue to behavioral issues. During our initial tour of the facility we were upfront with Director Lisa about our child's issues and she assured us they would be willing to work with us and our child. She was very patient with us in answering all of our questions and introduced us to the teacher who would likely be our child's teacher. They even invited us back a second time so that our child could check out the classroom (something no other facility we saw did). Only once our child was enrolled did we see what a night and day difference Just Children was from our previous day care facility. Our child began thriving almost immediately in her new classroom. Our child's teacher, Ms. Nicole, seemed to know just exactly how to approach our child. In a short period of time we saw a significant improvement in her letter and number recognition as well as writing ability. Her behavior in and out of the classroom improved as well. The activities, field trips and special guests that Ms. Nicole planned kept our child engaged and excited. Although we entered the school year late Just Children really did a great job letting our family feel like a welcome part of their community. Their communication system (Tadpoles) is fantastic and allowed us to stay informed of our child's daily activities and see what fun activities they were up to that day. Started in the baby building, awesome experience. Moved to a different county and preschools. That preschool was the worst.
