However, the outpatient part here has been nothing but amazing. They communicate very well, they are direct with no BS, accommodating and work with you to actually assist, instead of creating more stressors. Terra is an office manager here and has made the experience so seamless, setting the true expectations from the beginning. Krystal is a therapist, who is simply amazing bc she is able to be bluntly honest without coming off as insensitive or a jerk. She educates. So many people need this for themselves! I left a message about scheduling. I didn't get a return call. Two days later I did again and realized call back to let me know what was happening. Nothing. I was looking for an obit or something, thankfully that wasn't the case.Thank God I don't have a sever mental health problem... is it ethical to not tell someone they need to find a new therapist for whatever reason? I was ok with that as we are doing virtual appointments but I thought it was a little odd that they are advertised as being in Oregon. I go through the online forms and fill most of them out. Then I see that if you take any controlled substances that you will be drug tested and you will pay for them! I am 48 years old and have been med compliant my whole life. I am prescribed one controlled substance. I've been on it for years and all it takes is one look at my prescription history to show that I've always been compliant on it with no issues. I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal because my brain doesn't work correctly. I don't do drugs, I don't drink. But when a clinic called Gentle Psych treats us like criminals it's just not cool. I just want to warn people, especially folks in Oregon.

The doctors here are actually very good…read more But I had five intake appointments and I'm still no closer to getting medication or any sort of help. Appointments have been 20+ minutes late every time and twice now appointments have been an hour late or more. I've explained my case to four different doctors. But apparently it expired, or something, because I've been trying to get medication for three months, so now I need to establish my case again. I thought I was getting a genetic test, but I've been waiting an hour for that and I have places to go to. I don't think I'm coming back.
