The woman who answered confirmed my information and I was told to call when I was close, which I did. In my second call, ten minutes away, I was given directions and to go to door #7 not clearly marked). I was also informed, for the first time, that they did not take credit cards for drop offs. This meant I had to go get cash. As I arrived, one of their trucks was pulling in. He wanted to get into the bay of the garage. I asked him about drop off and he said he would call. This guy was very helpful and friendly, he entered the building, which clearly had credit card indicators on the door. If not for drop offs, for whom, as pickups would not see the door? Once I emptied my documents into the barrel, the truck driver emptied the barrel into the truck shredder. I don't think they have an on-site shredder, maybe just truck based. He took mt money, but then had to go looking for change. I only had twenties, as I was not expecting a cash exchange. So, good price, nice guy, got my shredding done, but it seemed a bit haphazard. I showed up yesterday…read morewith 18 carefully weighed large trash bags of brass wire with a total (my calculation) of 870 pounds . After arriving and being helped to transfer the wire to 3 large metal bins, they weighed the bins and found the total to be 916 pounds! I was sure I had calibrated my scale and couldn't be that far off but they insisted that their measurement was accurate so I accepted their payment. I had numbered my bags 1 thru 18 so today I checked the empty bags and found I had made 2 bags and numbered them with the same number. The one of those two bags that I had not accounted for weighed 43.6 pounds. So my total of 870 pounds should have been 913.6 pounds which means their total was 2.4 pounds more than my calculated weight. They apologized for not having more help unloading (I wasn't expecting any) so service was great, weight was very accurate, and the payment rate was quite fair. My overall experience was exceptional.
