Amazing local flower shop with high-quality, beautiful arrangements. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and you can tell they really care about making each bouquet special. Highly recommend supporting this business.

Wanting to support a local business, I convinced my teen daughter to order her prom date's boutonniere from Lovin' Florist. I dropped her off to pick it up while I drove around since parking can be tricky on a busy Sat. afternoon. She came out holding the boutonniere stuck in floral foam. I told her it should be in a floral box and she agreed and thought it was odd but figured they're the pros and supposedly knew what they were doing. I sent her back in while I circled around more. She came back out holding the flower as before and carrying a box you'd use to transport a vase of flowers. They told her they didn't have any other boxes for it and it shouldn't be put in a box because the flower could bruise. Also, the price was $26 - more than double what we've paid Kroger in the past for comparable, if not better, and they put theirs in a box. If she'd been driving alone, she'd have had to put the flower in the cup holder and hoped it didn't fall over. She looked online and found Hobby Lobby sold the box for $1. So instead of heading home to start getting ready, we headed to Hobby Lobby to search for the box. Overall, an additional 20 minutes or so we hadn't planned in the day. I called the Lawrenceville Lovin' Touch store and asked for the manager or for Brandon, one of the owners I'd exchanged business messages with in the past. They said he wasn't there and no managers in, but maybe there'd be someone at their other store. So I called the other location and asked for Brandon. Not there, but they said Michelle was, so I asked for her. I explained the situation including the fact we paid double for something with the expectation of at least equal but hopefully better quality/service/experience than Kroger. Her response over being given the flower with no container was, "Oh no! That's not right!" I told her I had pics and she asked me to text them to her so she could handle it. I texted the pics of what we were given along with the receipt for the boutonniere box. After about an hour, I texted to make sure she'd received them and she said she was with a customer but would definitely take care of it. That was Saturday. On Monday she texted they apologize for the inconvenience and spoke with the employee regarding inappropriate packaging and to be sure it never happens again. I then messaged Brandon to make sure he was aware of the situation, but no response back. You would think anyone working at a florist would have the basic training to know how to package any version of floral upon sale, especially a boutonniere at prom season. It wasn't "inappropriate" packaging, there was NO packaging, costing us extra time and effort...and $14 more than if we'd gone to Kroger who has always done it right in the past. So much for trying to support local business. We didn't expect it to be free, but we certainly thought there'd at least be a partial refund or something in lieu of the added effort and expense and, quite frankly, incompetence of apparently the only employee they had on duty that day. The flower itself was pretty. The stems weren't covered in floral tape and ribbon as we're used to, but maybe that's not the norm. Just disappointed because we expected a better level of service and better experience considering the price.

What they delivered was NOT what was on their web site. Definitely NOT worth $185. See photos. Will NOT be gong back. Should have looked at the reviews FIRST....

My absolutely gorgeous bouquet I received today.

I brought in a quilt to be embroidered. I was shown a picture of several fonts to chose from. Well,…read morethe font selection only showed the letters in the name of the font so I asked if I could see a preview of what I wanted embroidered in a particular font. I was told no, that wasn't possible. So, before I selected the font, I made sure to ask questions to make sure I would be happy with it since no preview was available. I asked if the font "Lucy" would be in print and not cursive and was told that would be. When I came in to pick up the quilt, the font was partially print and part cursive which looked silly and was not what I specifically asked for. It looked like two different fonts which also made the spacing look off. I asked the girl working if she thought the font looked wrong when I picked it up and she agreed that it looked like two different fonts used in the same word. She told me she would call her manager and send her a picture. At the time, the manager was unable to be reached so I left the quilt and my phone number for a return call. Before I left, I asked the employee if it was even possible to remove the embroidery/if that had been done before and she told me yes. Shortly after I left, I received a phone call from the employee informing me that her manager had said that since I chose the font, there was nothing else that could be done about it. I requested a phone call from the manager and received one the next morning. The manager called to inform me that they do not offer proofs because it would be "impossible" with the amount of business they do. She told me again that since I chose the font, she would not be changing it. I told her that I requested an example before printing and since that was not available, I made sure to verify with her staff member that the font would be in PRINT, not cursive. She told me that the employees don't know because they're not the ones who sew it, she is. If your employees don't know about the product they're supposed to sell, maybe you should be the one communicating with the customers rather than the employees...anyway, I pointed out that that would be an issue to discuss with the employee and proper customer service would take care of that as the customer was misinformed at the time of placing the order. She kept reiterating that I had chosen the font so she would not redo it. I then suggested that there should be a printed alphabet of each font available if they weren't going to offer proofs. She told me that "unfortunately we find that if the customers have too many options it makes the decision more difficult so we don't do that." Umm..that wouldn't be an extra option. That would be a more detailed presentation of the options listed as available to avoid unhappy customers and redo requests. It would take a whole 20 minutes to print an alphabet example to have on file of each of the font options they have. The "example" they do provide, which she seems to be convinced is sufficient, contained 4 letters. Believe it or not, there are 26 letters in the alphabet, 52 if you count capital and lower case letters. She informed me in a condescending way that again, I chose the font and therefore there was no changing it. After a lot of back and forth, she told me she would issue a refund for the embroidery but the quilt is "still functional" so she would not remove the embroidery and that's the best she could do even though it's "against policy" to issue refunds. So, now I'm left to buy a new quilt entirely and take it somewhere else to be embroidered. Terrible customer service all around. I do not recommend going here for embroidery needs. Photos below to show the font example provided and the quilt.

Especially since Toys R Us no longer has physical stores to try and buy such things like ride-on toys, which Top Notch has a variety of and is conveniently located to buy from. Rafiq, and I believe his son, whose name I can not recall right now, are the owners. They have great customer service and are very engaging with their customers. The other thing that I thought was a plus plus, especially around this time of the year, is the fact that they have a variety of buying options and a wonderful array of merchandise that is appealing to all children(young and mature). As a matter of fact, they are currently offering a super great financing option with a low as $25 dollars down and a reasonable monthly rate. This was perfect timing for me with the upcoming holidays and gift buying for my youngest family member. Do yourselves a favor and Run, don't walk here if you are looking for these rare gifts for the little ones. In this market, you can't beat their reasonable prices. Trust me, I price compare everything before I buy to make sure I am getting the best option for my money. You're welcome in advance for sharing this little nugget of great finds.

A beautiful gift shop to browse in Downtown Lawrenceville…read more Quaint town with local small businesses with heart. We were greeted by a very sweet woman who explained the loose teas, the sample selection of tea, olive oils & honeys. We bought 3 olive oils & got 1 free, I bought a lemon honey as a gift & will be back again to see if merch changes for the seasons. There is a nice book store next door with an open threshold between the market & book store. Small tables are in the market if you want a cup of tea & read your new book. I wish the owners luck to stay for years & thrive.

My favorite is the lemon not only is it delicious in tea it is FANTASTIC on asparagus! I finally signed up for the bread class and took my bestie as her Christmas gift. We both thought Frances did an excellent presentation. She is extremely knowledgeable about milling the wheat berry flour and shared with us places to purchase the necessary ingredients. Of course, the flour, olive oil, honey were all from Becca's. The bread is delicious especially with the lemon honey.... the cinnamon rolls made from the same dough with a lemon cream cheese icing were to die for... all 15 of us were making the mmmm noise while eating them . Highly recommend giving the class a try. Becca's also has a variety of unique items such as spices, jewelry, hats, journals, olive wood items, tea sets, hair accessories really too much to list. If you can zoom in on my pictures bc I tried to get most of the stuff in them. If you are ever in Lawrenceville please stop in and have Gigi make you a delicious cup of tea (so many choices) prices are reasonable.
