The weeks leading up to the special day, Michael was highly communicative with me and helped me plan out the perfect spot in an area that I was not familiar with given we were coming from out of town. The weekend of, Michael was also incredibly generous with his time, waiting out a big storm for 3 hours only to decide that we would need to reschedule for the next morning which he then did no questions asked (and at no extra cost!). In terms of the photographs, Michael is a true professional. He was able to document the moment perfectly, artfully staying out of the way so as not to tip Rachael off, while at the same capturing some great candid photos. Afterwards, Michael stuck around for a more traditional photoshoot, which he made fun and engaging. Overall, you cannot go wrong with Michael, as he not only takes great photos, but is a great guy who maximizes the experience for everyone involved!

I had a personal photo shoot with Alisa. It lasted around 2 hours and covered two locations. I really liked that she gives you information on everything, from ideas of location to suggestions on how to dress. My advice is to listen to her advice :) My family just moved to Breck, and I don't live there, and so no one in our group knew the area super well. But I mentioned what kind of location we were looking for and she gave me a few great options. It seemed like she was very used to clients not knowing their way around Breck and was super helpful in that regard. She even had a brunch location suggest for us, after our shoot. I wanted to get some photos with my parents and the family tree they created (ie my parents, their kids and their grandkids). The shoot included a 7 year old, 2 year old and a 10 month old. There was a lot of kid-wrangling to do and Alisa was amazing. My 7 year old nephew hates having his photo taken. Seriously. He hates it. I don't think I have a single decent photo of him. But Alisa was able to get him to smile and be silly for her. She got some amazing group photos, as well as portraits of him! And she was even able to wrangle my unpredictable baby. Her quote was actually a bit higher than other quotes I got. But from her portfolio photos, as well as her communication skills, I suspected that she'd be worth it. And now that I have the finished photos, I know that I was right. Her ability to handle little kids is incredible. It's definitely not something that everyone can do and I think it kind of key for a family photographer. For anyone looking to take some photos in Breck, I can't suggest Alisa enough.

My boyfriend corresponded with Bex way ahead of time, sent her cutouts of my family, and planned the whole thing with her. On the day of the proposal, Bex had to get the cutouts to the top of the mountain and set everything up. She truly went above and beyond! It was windy that day so I can imagine how stressful it was to get those cutouts to stand up. We had a lovely 30 min session with her after the proposal and she sent us our photos within 5 days, which is amazing! We had almost 100 photos total, for a TRULY reasonable price. We love Bex and would highly recommend her!

Where do I begin writing about my experience with Emily Campbell of Bella Design? She was the…read moreconsummate professional from the get-go. I can't begin to describe how effortless Emily made the planning process though we were a thousand miles apart and sometimes even a half a world apart. She was always prompt with responses and we were able to count on her to execute every detail that needed overseeing from afar. Honestly, there were times that we were unable to give her sufficient notice regarding requests and she graciously and gracefully accommodated each and everyone. Weddings are a stressful affair. To try and plan one in 3.5 months seems impossible. Not true when you have someone like Emily in your corner. She was genuinely interested in making everyone happy but staying true to my original vision. She fought hard to protect the elements that meant a lot to me and there is no way to adequately thank her for that. Emily has a natural talent when it comes to event planning as evidence by her composure, timeliness, willingness to adapt and doing it all with the warmest of smiles on her face. My husband, our families and I genuinely believe we were blessed to have Emily by our side. She made our dream wedding a reality. Her eye for detail, her organizational abilities and her extensive knowledge of vendors in the Breckenridge/Vail area alleviated much of the guesswork when it came to picking vendors such as the florist, DJ, decor and even stationary. I am actually sad that the wedding is now over because I miss my regular interactions with Emily. She was such a beacon of hope and positivism at times where I was unable to manufacture my own. Her strength, charisma and wit came to our rescue every single time we needed it because they were contagious. Emily was our Knight in Shining Armor and when we think back on our wedding, we will also fondly think of Emily.
