The owner was already irritated and decided to take his anger out on us because we kept asking questions. We decided on purchasing the items and my father asked if we could assure the frame fit the headboard and he said "I'm not doing that" as if more work for him was so devastating. My father and I both shocked as someone who was a respectable business owner should not react this way. His sister, Linda, was about to save the sale, but he came out of his office to continue to berate us about how he "makes 5 million dollars a year" just because we asked for more respect from someone who is supposed to be selling a product. DO NOT buy anything from here, the management is NASTY and does not deserve a dollar from people who are customers.

You know that feeling when you could swear you already wrote a review for a place, only to realize…read moreyou never actually did? That was me recently with Old Time Pottery. I could have sworn I had already shared the gem that is this amazing store. I've been coming here for years to find inexpensive yard and holiday decorations, home décor, and all those little things that can make a house feel more like home. Old Time Pottery was founded in 1986 by Jack Peterson in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The store originally focused on pottery, but eventually expanded its selection to include a wide variety of home décor, furniture, and other merchandise. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and again in 2020. In April 2023, Old Time Pottery was acquired by Gabe's, an off-price retailer headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia. The acquisition included 30 Old Time Pottery stores across 11 states. The merger expanded the selection available to shoppers, and today the combined company operates more than 166 Gabe's and Old Time Pottery locations across 20 states. If you're planning to shop at Old Time Pottery, bring your comfy walking shoes because this place is HUGE! There is so much to look through, from seasonal and holiday décor to home goods, furniture, linens, florals, pet items, clothing, accessories, and plenty more. It's the kind of store where you can go in looking for one thing and easily leave with several others you didn't know you needed. On my latest visit, I was shopping for a few finishing touches for a bathroom remodel. One of the things I love about Old Time Pottery is that the prices are already affordable, and many items have additional discounts. There's also a clearance section in the back that is worth checking out. No matter what your decorating style or budget they have something for you here. I always enjoy browsing because you never know what you're going to discover. And if you work up an appetite while shopping and need a snack afterward, there's a Krispy Kreme in the same plaza. You're welcome.

What I…read morefound disappointing was being told one thing, relying on that information, and then being presented with something different at checkout. Had the communication been clear and consistent, I may very well have completed the purchase. I have been shopping at HomeSense and appreciate the unique items the store carries, which is why it was especially disappointing to walk away from an $800 sale over what ultimately felt like a customer-service and communication issue. I would appreciate having this experience reviewed, particularly the inconsistent information provided by management and the way the situation was handled. My hope is that this can be addressed so other customers do not have a similar experience.

I had a giftcard and luckily some coupons because the prices here are kind of expensive for the same things you can find on Amazon or other big name stores around. The staff was friendly and I will definitely be back as long as this location stays open, with so many others closing.
