We stopped here for gas and a bathroom break on the last leg of our trip back from Virginia. OMG!!! The staff was so friendly and I noticed this immediately! Nice and well stocked store. They even had some really cool souvenirs for the state of Alabama and just in general. I bought a tag with my legal name on it & I just had to have it for $4.99. Yep!! The bathrooms were clean enough from what I recall. No issues there. Gas pumps worked without any problems. I would say this was a successful experience. It served it's purpose. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here in the future! Located right off the interstate- there's a subway and god father's pizza express located inside as well. read more

We have stopped at a lot of Loves while traveling in our motorhome and this has by far been the best. Store and pumps are typical but this location has a full service RV hook up with 6 pull through spots. It's perfect to fuel up, get snacks and stay overnight while traveling. They also have an area with a fire pit and dog park. We'll definitely make this our go to stop while traveling from north to the pan handle. read more

They have a great selection and quality brand names you can trust like cobra. It's convenient right off the Interstate and a great place to take a rest and get caffeinated up for the rest of your trip. Yes, they have a coffee island with various items to choose from. Very spacious gas station, food was delicious, I love their deals for the hotdogs. I even bought the cutest stuff flamingo, it had legs! The only problem I had was getting in and out, there was construction right when we took the ramp up to the entrance. The workers were pretty rude, and made us wait on pulling out for just two cars. Oh boy. Watch out, one of them will kick your car! read more

Holy crap I never thought I'd leave a review at a gas station but I've seen something I never have before - a dog park at a gas station! I noticed as I was leaving to go find a rest area to walk my dog. It's small, but clean and with poop bags and trash cans. I really appreciate this feature, thank you Loves!!! They said they would come out to fill propane, called twice, no one showed up. So rude. Even the Chester's chicken was subpar.

Seems like I have been driving a lot recently...and as a result have been frequenting the travel stops on a more regular basis. This was a quick stop for a fill up and a drink. If you have been to a Love's before this one is similar to all the others. Gas station lanes are wide and spacious to help people traveling with large loads get in and out easily. Store is also very similar. A ton of things packed into a small space. They have to cater to souvenir shoppers passing through, so be prepared to find clothing, sunglasses, stuffed animals, shot glasses and things of that sort. They also have some things for your vehicle such as navigation, windshield wipers, oil, etc. Then they also have the snack stuff which includes drinks to go along with a variety of snacks. Nothing special here, but there serve as a quick on and off the highway for gas...snacks....and a restroom break/leg stretching break. read more

I normally stop here a couple times a week for a break but after stopping today, doing my usual routine of getting coffee and filling my cups with ice, I will be finding somewhere else to stop. After getting back on the road I found that there was mold and gunky chunks of debris in my ice. It was plain to me that the ice machine had not been cleaned in a very long time. Hopefully management will see this and get it cleaned promptly before somebody gets sick. read more

The number of flies at the restaurant portion of this stop are absolutely disgusting. We ended up taking our food outside to get away from them constantly landing on us and our food. They were everywhere. The restrooms are nice and clean and the staff seemed friendly. But I wouldn't waste my time with this trucks top. read more

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Prepare for a story: I came to this stop late at night after a long weary drive from driving on a cross country trip from California to North Carolina. This was the night of 2/07/2016. First of all, the overnight cashier Catherine stared at me angrily. Not welcoming whatsoever. I got two Tornadoes and a bratwurst sausage for my traveling companion Jordan. Catherine glanced at me menacingly as I took one out and started nibbling on it while Jordan was getting a drink. I finished one while he was still deciding. During checkout, I told her that I had a total of three but ate one already. No issue there. Here's why I'm mad: Jordan and I went to the car to snack. He went back in a couple of minutes to get a bottle of water for the road and he overheard her gossiping to a coworker about "how fat he looked" and how I "tried to steal a sausage and only pay for two". When Catherine saw Jordan come back in a minute after he walked in, she finally shut her trap and said "shh". Jordan just dropped his water and left the building. I won't be coming here again and I will dissuade other travelers from stopping at this location. This employee really hurt my feelings. read more
