I have never experienced any issues with the staff ever but noticed they have all been friendly. What's great about this pilot travel center is that you have options where to eat and right off the freeway, you can't miss it. There is a Wendy's, Subway, Dennys, Thai and a hotel nearby. It's easy to get to from the exit and quickly back onto the highway afterward. They have an assortment of food: pizza, burgers, chicken, wings, Indian, yogurt, Jamba, and Cinnabon. They have a nice variety of snacks and drinks and even have wine tasting. The staff is friendly, and the bathrooms are clean. I recommend this truck stop for a quick break while traveling through Fresno. Note: I didn't get gas here, so I can't comment on the gas.

They also have air filling station just incase your tire pressure is low. The gas prices here weren't the cheapest but not like crazy expensive (was $3.34 when cheap rate was $3.14), plus the station pump machine was updated, and they have the convenience of tissue paper and a windscreen cleaner. The bathroom was really clean and well stocked, which was the most important thing for me next to filling up my tank. Take exit 153A onto Gateway Drive and the station is not too far from there. Getting back onto the station is also very easy, like a small detour and your back with 3 minutes into CA-99.

Perfect if you're downtown, either on county business or visiting some stores. The AM/PM store is well stocked. Prices are low, as is typical of ARCO, but remember that *no* ARCO takes credit cards. Clean, well taken care of. As far as I know, there are no ARCOs near a Highway 99 exit. They could do big business if they opened a station there. I know that I'd stop in if I didn't have much left! You can get propane here at the tank exchange, ice, fresh vegetables and cash checks. I have bought meat, hot food, cold beer etc never having any issues and the guys that run the store are pretty cool and friendly.
