They took advantage of an out of town 19 year old who was in distress and in need of towing assistance after avoiding hitting an unleashed dog who was with his owner. Without an estimate ( even though my son asked repeatedly, they began the towing process and loaded up the truck and began driving away leaving my son there with no ride. He had to call them, as they were driving away, and then they backed up to get him. My son kept asking what the cost would be, and it was only once the truck was loaded and they were on their was to the tow yard, that the driver gave us a verbal estimate, which was in the $1,500.00 range. Once at their tow yard, the driver proceeds to tell my son that the tow will be at least $10,000 if not more, and that he should just call his insurance company and not worry about it. The next morning my son called asking if he could collect some of my personal belongings, and they rudely told that he could, only after paying a $375 gate fee!! I will be doing everything in my power to shut them down!! This place needs to be stopped from their unlawful predatory practices!
