Overpriced. Love's recently purchased TBS Factoring company and TBS failed to properly advise my company of the change. I found out through out my main costumer mid January and they received invoices from Love's. I reached out to TBS ( Zachariah deBrugge) and state my complaint for lack of communication and transparency and Sent a letter of cancelation since my contact will expire on Feb-14-2026. However after many phone calls and emails, I also made sure that all invoices were paid before the date. Therefore Love's decided to renew my contract and now is asking for $5000 dollars if I want to cancel even if I already provided a letter within the time the allowed to have since a full disclosure wasn't made by TBS. This is extortion from a company investing $700 millions to expand their business while stepping over small businesses read more

This is the worst place ever the service is horrible we bought 4 batteries for 727.28 and they did not want to give me warranty for my batteries . Ok, here's my 3 star review of Love's Travel Stop McCarty Review. I needed a shower, I entered through the front entrance and was greeted with several warm "Welcome to Luv's"! I luved the energy especially since mines was off and the vibes lifted my spirits. My walkthrough to the fuel/shower register met my expectations clean floor, everything well stocked and inviting for quick grabs. The African American lady at the register called me baby every other word was baby lol. I asked for a shower, I appreciate the fact she asked for my rewards card because my mind was elsewhere and it was important due to the fact I had points which took off $$$. My shower was immediately available, inside clean, no mold or mildew, smelled fresh and my 3 towels was nice and neat and waiting for me. Loves must use quality detergent with fabric softener because the towels smelled wonderful/up lifting and the towels complimented their quality. Water was scolding hot when turned to its full position, the 2 shower heads worked properly. I visited the fountain area, clean free of trash and spilled liquid. After checkout, 5 stars uuuuntil. I was messing around outside in my vehicle and their was a strong odor of wakey tabacky in the air. No at first I assumed it was the car next to me, nope no one was in it. 10 minutes go by odor still fresh like a burning chimney, an employee from the inside walks out and acknowledges her coworker they kekey and kaka in laughter along with her dealer (I can only assume ) getting high on the side of the store. The 3 of them laugh it off, no I may not have been the po po or under cover boss but a "Secret shopper". That kind of behavior(not judging) in broad daylight around 3 in the afternoon invites trouble and makes it unsafe for customers. My 5 stars went down to 3 for obvious reasons. I would also like to acknowledge the young lady who was tending to the shower area, I left my bottle of soap ($8 in value) in the shower and it was put up for me retrieval. Parked overnight and these roaching ass mfz stole our ramps and other equipment stay far away from this place so many ppl walking around and just a lot of suspicious activity. No type of police patrol either. It's embarrassing to say we are from Texas and this happens vs being out on the road in what I thought were questionable places. Stopping at Love's on the road is an immense convenience for every traveler. I go for the coffee station and the fresh food. Clean, safe, well lit, you can also grab a shower and get a load of laundry in. I also love the different state relevant merch, that's always a plus for me, to stretch the legs and get some retail therapy, as I have purchased a few things on the road. I feel safe any hour of the day or night, as there are always truckers and police/security coming and going. My only feedback is more vegetarian/vegan hot items would be fantastic!! read more

Always very clean and very easy to get in and out earlier in the day until about mid afternoon. I use Love's all the time after my lacrosse games to grab a shower before going on long road trips back home. I have never had an issue and the staff is always super helpful. read more

Don't come here. My girlfriend and I were going to fill our freight liner up(around $1000) we went in to use the restroom first. My girl takes forever in the restroom so I looked around. Saw a heavy duty phone holder I wanted. Once I grabbed the the lady in at the register(African American) goes over the entire store speakers and says "SECURITY MAKE SURE ALL CAMERAS ARE RECORDING" then security walked by me not 3 seconds later. I felt so ashamed I called my girlfriend and told her to run into the store. I couldn't believe it. Long story short, I'll never go to a Loves again. This was around 1:10pm on 3/18/22. When I went to the register I bought the phone holder and she began making up a story to security trying to cover her bullshit up and saying "did you see that black chick in here? She was acting weird" and security responded and said "no I was checking on that other thing" I got the holder because I really wanted a heavy duty holder. But I'm parked at a Flying Js now and spending my $1,000 here. And I was literally wearing a bright yellow trucker shirt in there. Trucking parking is limited and poorly lit. I will not fault Love's for the strong smell of urine in the parking lot, but you can do something about it. I understand why you have security inside, the area is very dicey, but the parking lot hookers and panhandlers are very unsettling. I run a route from Weatherford Texas to Houston daily, forced due to duty hours to stay at this location or Patton. The showers and toilets maybe worse then porta-potties, so bad is it, I rent a room just to shower. read more

This is my first visit to the tire shop. I have been wait for three hours to get one new steer tire to match my existing tire. There was only one truck in front of me and that truck was only getting a drive axle tire. This has to be the worst service I have gotten in any truck stop. Tire worker seems to have all the time in the world and doesn't worry about the customer needs. The shop is under construction but I believe that should not affect any current work. I hope that I will not visit this shop again. read more

People that stay in trucks there get robbed a lot and security does nothing, but tell "you" to call the police and run off like chickens with their heads cut off. Why pay security if you aren't secured. The people that answer the phone when you complain, just apologizes and basically have a good day. Tarps are the main things that get robbed off of semi's.
