We stopped at Loves on our way home with our RV. We then left to go to the McDonalds. Before we left McDonald's, we noticed we had a flat tire so we drove straight back to Loves, planning to air the tire. We did and it went flat. We needed help and the Loves mechanics were FABULOUS!!! Stopped to top off our RV fresh water tank to help our trailer sway less in heavy winds. Water was kept locked up for the dump station. When I went in to explain that we only needed a few gallons and did not need to use the dump station we were still charged $10 just to gain access to the water. The truck repair shop on the other hand said that we could use their water free of charge. I explained this to the manager after we had already paid and was returning the key and she said "well, they are supposed to charge you too" Maybe this is customary at other loves to charge for water, but it is free everywhere else...why on earth would they charge $10 for water? I also called ahead to verify that they had water that was accessible with a trailer in tow and they did not mention that there was any fees for the use of the water. read more

I rolled into Eufaula, not knowing anything about the area. I was here with a client and had to get from a nearby RV camp site to a hotel down the road. Stopped by this Loves to get gas and asked the man behind the counter if there was a taxi service available (this was 2am in the morning). I told him that I was having trouble getting a way to my hotel. I was completely exhausted having had only about 7 hours of total sleep in the last 2 days. Without hesitation, the man, John H. offered to pick me up from the campsite and take me to the hotel. Luckily the hotel was next door to this Loves so I hope it wasn't too much trouble to come get me and bring me back! I am from a town where people just don't look after each other anymore, and I was totally blown away by this man offering to help me. Don't know what I would have done otherwise. Loves, You are lucky to have John H on your team. I was truly stranded and I am eternally grateful. May the road always rise to meet you John H. Because of your kindness, I will never stop at another gas station in the area. I will seek this particular Loves out every time. Thank you!! read more

This is a clean facility that offers no frills goods to suit the needs of all who travel on wheels. Ample restroom space, a variety of fountain drinks and coffee and plenty of snacks and a subway should give you what you need until your next stop. This is out of the way Oklahoma so for passers through you should feel safe stopping in here day or night. read more

Stopped her the night before last for a shower, we were in a hurry because we were parked on the street since this loves had no parking and we both needed a shower badly, so my wife and I shared a shower. A very tall, large African American man (a manager) waited on us. After the shower a spot had opened up so we parked to spend the night. From that point on the man wouldn't wait on me, glared at us both anytime we were in the store including our second visit, nearly 2 days later. When my wife mentioned it to a cashier the man followed us outside and raised his voice to us and accused us of judging him (we were not, only stating our experience in this store). We are very obviously lesbian women and I feel that his treatment stemmed from us asking for a shower together. Later the night we stayed there, I saw him banter with men and a woman who he seemed to know from church (assuming only because he called them "brother and sister" and the woman had long hair and was wearing a long skirt, something I recognize from my years in the Pentecostal faith). I would expect loves as a corporation to train their employees, especially management to treat all customers the same, regardless of how religious or how straight they appear to be. We will not be visiting this location again. read more
