It's in the middle of a bunch of ethnic restaurants and foreign grocers by the Medical Center. I've found that the gas is still cheaper just a little bit up the hill at the Valero. But this place is clean, clean, clean. It's spotless! It always seems to be picked up, and the bathrooms are rather clean. I like how they have a full (help yourself) bar for coffee drinks- with nitro cold coffee that puts the local coffee shops on the run. My fav thing about these gas stations is the name brand condiment station, where you can get the fancy stuff - Grey Poupon in little yellow packets, or Cholula hot sauce- Grab handfuls, because this is the good stuff! Today's visit to QuikTrip #04016 at 6461 Bandera Road in Leon Valley was especially disgusting. The restroom had wet and dirty floors, trash overflowing from the towel bin, a used drink cup and paper around the toilet, and soiled clothing and tissues left across the baby-changing station. QuikTrip markets itself with "fresh QT food" and the slogan "QT. More than a gas station." Yet this location prepares and sells food while allowing a customer restroom to remain in this condition. That raises serious concerns about the cleanliness standards being enforced throughout the store. I have previously reported the poor conditions at San Antonio-area QT locations to the local office. Nothing appears to have changed, and I have seen no meaningful improvement. This is not consistent with the clean, well-managed QuikTrip stores I have visited in other markets. QT should stop treating repeated complaints as isolated incidents and investigate the management and sanitation standards across its San Antonio market. Customers purchasing prepared food should be able to trust that basic cleanliness is being taken seriously.

As I drove by it, I just happened to look at the posted gas prices. They were so low that I turned around and went back just to confirm the prices. I was shocked. Diesel was only $2.86 per gallon. It was even slightly cheaper than regular gas. So I filled it up:-) Everything else about this place was typical for a QT.
