Currently my skin is in the best state it's been, and I feel great about myself, however I wanted to visit CIMA to talk primarily about my scarring. I expressed this to Stefanie and she advised me on ways to target the minimal scarring I had on my cheeks with the services they offered. I am aware of the cost of treatments which I knew would be high and was willing to take the route, however when Stefanie began to explain the products that are sold in their office and the cost is where things became a bit over budget for me as this is something I will be using consistently. The morning serum alone was $90, along with a healing serum of $80. Not forgetting the night serum, cleanser etc. I obviously wanted to use the whole recommended regimen, however after adding everything up it was out of my budget. I kindly asked Stefanie if she can recommend products with similar ingredients that would be more affordable for me that are over the counter as I cannot afford to keep up with that. She gave me a rude look and I asked her to please be honest, she then had a change in body language it was clear on her face and said, "Well if any of those products worked for you, then you wouldn't be here right now talking to me, and she's sure I have 20 products under my bathroom sink." I was shocked and quite disappointed. She then went on a huge spiel saying she's not a salesperson and why their office was originated. Needless to say, it was a long rant and I felt uncomfortable. I was looking forward to this appointment and was ready to schedule a facial as it was my birthday the next day, but after Stefanie's rude comment, tone, body language, and rant I was completely turned off. To top that off she was looking up results of treatments on google images instead of actual before and after photos of her work, which I thought was quite comical after she had no modesty saying she's the best. I know I'll receive a message of an apology from this office and the reason why their products should coincide with their treatments, but no one should have to be belittled in order to prove points. Professionalism and humbleness was definitely off.

In August 2022, I underwent a routine cataract surgery performed by this arrogant doctor, but it ended in the loss of vision in my right eye. Shockingly, the doctor not only refused to compensate me or apologize but also declined to refund the surgery costs covered by my insurance or Medicare. The only refund offered was for the damaged lens that couldn't be inserted due to the eye damage he caused. When I went to his office, to ask for compensation, he called the police to escort me out. This incident is far from isolated. Public records reveal previous lawsuits for medical malpractice 2006. I know two other individuals in Jupiter whose eyes were damaged by him, both cases were settled out of court. He admitted that such blunders happen only once per year, indicating a shocking lack of accountability, as well as telling me, What did I expect? Your cataracts were so large , as if the damage was my fault. He has a bad reputation with long time Jupiter residents as well as other medical professionals. The doctor is supposed to explain what lens to choose for my particular cataracts. but he was not present. He turned over this important consult to his untrained office worker who advised me to chose the wrong lens for my eye, which I discovered later from a different doctor. I could write a book about this doctor and how unethical he is. Stay away.

After the injection, my right eye could not open properly, which affected my facial appearance and my vision. My eyes could not focus together, making it very difficult and even dangerous for me to drive. This experience has caused me a lot of emotional distress and psychological pressure. I became very self-conscious about my appearance and even felt afraid to talk to people. It has seriously affected my confidence and daily life, and I am currently seeking psychological counseling to deal with the mental impact. When the problem happened, I contacted the clinic. They asked me to come to the clinic if I wanted a refund. I went to the clinic, they re fused to give me refund, I left, just back home, they asked me come to the clinic again, twice in one day, but in the end they still refused to give me a refund and kept making excuses. I felt very disappointed with how the situation was handled. I hope clinics take patient safety seriously and handle complications with responsibility and honesty.
