I searched yelp for the best nail salons and most were not rated, so I chose this salon. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. The staff were rude and unprofessional. I had gel polish on my toes and instead of taking her time the lady tried to use the harsh electric buffing tool to save time, when asked to soak the polish off you would have thought they were asked to save the world from incoming aliens. My daughter and I came to this salon for the first time. We wanted Dip nails which normally cost 35.00-45.00 depending on where you go. And that would include the complete service! Not at this place! Not only do they not have it listed on there services, but they claim they do it. They did it wrong! They charged us 60.00 each! Oh and wait for it the place was so unsanitary as we were sitting there to get our nails done, the lady doing my nails had her personal purse sitting next to her and a cockroach crawled out of it!!! Like WTF! I'm sorry Never again! You nasty and we will never be back! Our nails look horrible to say the least! The lady from the shop claims that it's more expensive in Mississippi than louisiana where we are from ha well I drove to Brookhaven Mississippi walked into a cleaner nail shop and asked how much would they charge for the Dip nails that I received and that lady said 40.00. Normally I can rely on a fairly decent mani pedi with gel polish... well kind of decent for the price. However the last 3 visits my experience has plummeted and instead of being refreshed and renewed when leaving I am aggravated and disappointed. I guess I have to reserve this nail salon as a go to only for polish changes if that. When spending 100 bucks plus tip I expect great service. I expect a real manicure and real pedicure. Probably worth just basic service due to location, but I will not look to this place for relaxation. Only maintenance. :( Needs consistent good service... And the owner should look to fix something when its wrong not just say its "ok" when its not. I am leaving here very disappointed and $100 lighter. :( read more

Visiting from California decided to get a pedicure while I'm here. For one the service is terrible the technicians are rude as hell and when you ask for something specific they get an attitude. They are ridiculously overpriced I never spent $28 for a pedicure in my life! If I am paying almost $30 for a pedicure I shouldn't have to tell you to clean up the paint around the skin of my toes. my first time and my last time!!!. terrible job on nails and way way way overpriced. i had a dip with tips on nails, and a jell pedi...$137.00 !!!!!!!!!.. when i asked for the spa menu i was given a booklet , and the cheapest listing was the jell pedi at $55.00.....come to find out there were other options . i discovered this at check out. communication was terrible, by choice i'm sure. i tried to explain to the tech, exactly how i wanted my nails shapped,i even stopped her and showed her as well as my sister did her tech, needless to say when we got home we shapped our nails the way we wanted them. just all around a bad experience...never again read more

I've been to this salon twice and was not greeted when I came In the door. Only to have a white customer come in less than 5 minutes after me and be greeted and asked how they could assist her. My daughter and I politely and quietly walked out. It was only then that one of the techs tried to get up to assist me. I'm not sure why salons in this area such low professionalism. This was my second time coming to get serviced at this location. I wasn't greeted with a welcome how may i help you or anything. I had initiate conversation. The customer service at this location is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND I CAN DEFINITELY SAY THAT I WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK. I'm currently residing in Atlanta, GA and I was just explaining to my nail technician ( Mo is her name ) how difficult it has been for me in terms of finding a good nail technician. She initially was really kind and accommodating but as I started to find things that I didn't like about her work the body language started to change and I could tell she was ready to go and then AND became a little antsy because I told her i didn't like the edges of my nails. I'll insert pictures for better understanding of what I'm explaining. But she proceeded to say come back to my chair if you want me to fix it, instead of asking how do you like your nails or even is there any that needs to be corrected. No apology or ANYTHING. Didn't even suggest a discount for my service. Which i think is severely overpriced especially compared to standard market value of nail services. I had a REFILL, GEL POLISH, AND A CUT DOWN AND TOE POLISH- total :$49 why ?? But I didn't cause a scene but I could have easily. I don't mind supporting black professionals but if you want to treated like a professional, I think you should always present yourself as one with every interaction with your clients, whether they're new or old clients. We deserve better than that. I work to hard for my money just to give it away. read more

Came here on a weekend to get my eyebrows waxed. I'm from out of town so I had no idea what to expect. The nail area was packed, so I was expecting a wait but was immediately ushered back to the waxing room. The lady listened to what I wanted and did a good job. After waxing she took the time to perfect them with tweezers. I am very pleased with the results. read more

My manicurist was rude - made several phone calls during my 20 min manicure. She was young and it was end of the day for her, but still, pretty terrible customer service. She had a hard time (a very hard time) accepting 'NO Thanks!' for an answer to Gel Nails. Her paint technique was interesting as well: paint the entire finger, then go back wither her own long nails and scrape the paint from the flesh. Lastly, the actual nail polish bottles could use some TLC... every bottle I picked up to look at had polish dripping/caked on the outside. However, the lady next to me had a really nice set done - and her manicurist seemed very accommodating in trying to find her the perfect color. And, the 8pm close time is a nice bonus. I'm not saying this place is all bad - just my experience. For a $15 manicure in McComb, MS, I hoped for a bit more. read more

I'd leave 0 stars if I could. This is the first salon I've been to that tacks on additional charges for the following: trimming nails, glitter polish, top coat. I mean, what did my $25 for the manicure even cover? Sitting in the chair? I've been getting my nails done for 10 years and have been to various salons throughout the southeast, and this one is the absolute worst, by far. Aside from the absurd charges, the nail tech made several novice mistakes. For instance, he wiped my nails with an alcohol-soaked cotton ball prior to applying the top coat, leaving shreds of cotton all over my nails. "Sir, you can't paint over all that cotton." He also "repaired" a nail and decided that this one needed to be about 3mm thicker than all the rest. "Sir, can you please fix this? My hands need to match." After all was said and done, I was charged $92 for a mani-pedi. "Sir, can you please write down everything you're charging me for (so I can share the absurdity with others)." Not only did I not leave a tip, I also had to go purchase some superglue the next day. I'm sure you can guess what for. read more
