It turns out that a power distribution box associated with the generator was broken. The heating technician was able to bypass the box to make sure the heat was working. Bobby McCormack has helped my family and several friends of mine. Once he replaced the air conditioner for a co-worker. Six months after he installed her AC, he sent her a rebate check from the manufacturer for $500. He could have kept the money for his business but he didn't. He's an honest good man. This summer, my air conditioner stopped working. First thing in the morning, I looked up HVAC…read moreservices nearby and picked these guys since they were open early and they were the closest. Somebody responded immediately and sent a technician in the afternoon. The tech did a thorough checkup and identified that the capacitor had gone bad. They also suggested that I replace the entire HVAC unit since it is almost 20 years old. I requested a quick fix which is to replace the capacitor. Capacitors seem to be very cheap when purchased online. They charged way more than the price, of course factoring in the time and labor involved with the analysis and replacement, it was reasonable. The tech who showed up was very knowledgeable. A few months later, in winter and a day after the first frost, my heater stopped working and I spent an entire night shivering in the cold. First thing in the morning, I requested conditioned air solutions for a technician and they sent someone within a couple of hours. The tech spent a lot of time checking the hvac system and identified the same issues as the previous tech mentioned. This technician was also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently. It was apparent that my HVAC is getting old and I could no longer continue with the temporary fixes. I decided to replace the entire thing and conditioned air solutions gave me an estimate and a payment plan. After I agreed, they booked a technician within a couple of days. The entire process went smoothly and their technicians have done an awesome job with the installation. They cleaned up well afterwards. I could not be happier with the service. I suspect that their prices might be a bit higher, but from what I understood talking to their techs is that the company pays them well and treats them well. So, all is well! What a nightmare this has been: The technician showed up and started working on the plumbing without knowing where the shutoff was, or trying to shut it off. Water was spraying over my kitchen for several minutes and I had to grab countless towels while he went outside and tried to find the shutoff. He then cut himself, and was bleeding all over my kitchen, for which I gave him more towels. He then told me that my garbage disposal was broken, and told me I had to go to Home Depot and buy another, and pay for the install in addition to the job I already paid them for. Interestingly, my disposal worked perfectly fine before they arrived. Somehow, it was broken within the one hour job. Things went even more downhill from there: 1) A few days later, the plumbing sprung a leak. I called Best Care and they sent the same guy back. He said that he installed the Ptrap backwards (how is that possible?) 2) A few months later, the water shutoff valves he installed sprung an undetected leak in my cabinets, and I now have destroyed cabinet wood and mold throughout. 3) A few months later, the drain pipe from my sink completely fell off while running the garbage disposal (also how is that possible?) and water sprayed out into my kitchen cabinets and floors. Not to mention their plumber gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him directly for "better prices". Having Best Care do work in my house was probably the singe biggest mistake I have made as a home owner. Please avoid at all costs
