No street parking at all It used to be called Stockbridge Amphitheater just in case you hear ppl still referring to it by that name. This is a really nice medium sized venue. They do offer various types of seating reserved General Admission, Hightop tables, Box sections, VIP Seating which is the closest to the stage with tables. The venue does a security search through metal detectors, be mindful of policy on bag sizes, cooler sizes & allowed vs unallowed items. Dont be the person to have throw something out or walk back to your car. This is a heads up. The venue also allow you to bring coolers with food & drinks. They do have vendors who will be selling food, sometimes they have food trucks as well. In addition they have bar that serves alcoholic beverages. Overall, its a nice venue, with a nice set up, the staff are friendly, if you are able go to the box office on certain days to purchase tix, it will save you on those high Ticketmaster fees as they do charge a very smaller fee. Be prepared for a small walk if you dont park in the limited free parking or pay the fee to park at the venue. Also, some business also offer fee parking in the area and that also is a walk. The sound system is good. I have seen several artist who come & walk through the audience as they perform. It is a rain or shine venue, however, if its thunderstorms or lightning they will stop the performances & see how to proceed. If they have to reschedule you will be able to use the same tix for the rescheduled date. I will keep going back to Stockbridge Amphitheater as it is well worth the price of tix, the distance which is 30-45 min from College Park Area which is next to the airport (just to give you an idea). And you can bring your own food, small cooler & drinks. I rate them 5

We went to Vystar Amphitheater in Stockbridge to see Trey Songz, and this was actually my first…read moreoutdoor concert, so I was excited for the whole experience. It was HOT, but I was there with my girls, the energy was good, and once the concert really got going we had a great time. The biggest downside was the rain situation. At one point we found some empty covered seats because it was raining and nobody was sitting there, so we stayed there for a while instead of getting soaked. Toward the end of the concert, a security guard singled us out and called police over to make us go back to our original seats in the rain. What made it frustrating was that the covered seats were completely empty, and even the officer seemed confused about why it was being made into such a big issue. That definitely put a weird little cloud over the night. Trey Songz also came out later than expected, which was a little annoying, especially after sitting outside in the heat waiting. But despite all of that, we still had FUN. The music, being outside under the night sky, and just having a girls' night made it worth it. I'd definitely come back for another concert, but I'd probably be a lot more prepared for the weather next time. Overall, fun venue and a really good night, but the security experience could've been handled way better.

There's a great deal of talent in the surrounding area in part because of our movies and TV business in Georgia... So you can get some really great performances. Seats are comfortable. Now they have a VIP level for membership that Grant you some posh private area to have a before or during intermission refreshment.

She had gone to a similar painting event in the past and had a terrible experience, so I really had to push her to go this time. I was honestly shocked when she said, "I actually had fun." That alone made the night five stars for me. The artist was incredibly kind, sweet, and personable. While I do wish she had spent a little more time demonstrating brush techniques and offering help to beginners, she created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The music was a bit loud, but it added to the lively vibe. We also made candles during our visit -- a total five-star process. The instructions were clear, the scents were so fun to explore, and it felt like a creative, sensory adventure. Some of the candle label stickers were unavailable, which was a little disappointing, but probably beyond the business's control. This small business is absolutely worth supporting. You can feel how much love, creativity, and heart fills the space. As a nurse, I especially appreciated the painting on the wall honoring healthcare workers -- such a thoughtful touch. Best part? My mom actually wants to come back. And that means everything.

The Gilbert House is a historic site here in Atlanta. Word is that Jeremiah Gilbert built this…read morehouse shortly after the Civil War. He gathered stones from what is now I 85 and laid the walls of his home with them and a clay mixture. Each wall is 14 by 8 by 12 inches. He laid one section per day until his house was finished. Then, he apparently cut down pine trees to make his hardwood floors, which are incredibly sturdy and did not creak for the house being nearly 200 years old. I was here for a volunteer project. We mulched the massive lawn which is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in southwest Atlanta. The reason for our being here is that on this site, two of the oldest trees in Georgia reside. One tree is registered and estimated to be more than 200 years old. The other is over a century. Both are incredible to look at and even more amazing to wonder about. To have a glimpse at what that tree has been through. Or how the landscape has evolved would be amazing. We mulched around the trees to help retain moisture during this long drought. The Gilbert House is available for field trips, hands on history demonstrations, or for rental for community meetings or gatherings. The home still houses some of the original furniture and paintings from the original owners. It's something to see that a house this old and historic still stands and people are taking care of it so that future generations will enjoy it as well.

Daffodils were still blooming all over the property and the mentioned ancient trees were magnificent. After a long day of hunting Atlanta and environs for a venue, we were tired and discouraged. Everything was so expensive! The Gilbert House was the last place on our list and we almost skipped it: "Me: It rents for $125 and is in a sketchy neighborhood. How good could it me? Leo: Well, the price is certainly right." We took a left before you got to the sign saying "All Live Nude Girls LOVE To Party" and after a short drive, there it was. Our DREAM venue! I wore an antique dress, we could use our own caterer, and had a fabulous sit-down dinner for fifty. We both had poison ivy because we supplied our fabulously kind florist with yards and yards of ivy that we had cleaned and "polished" ourselves, and had tenderloin for dinner. My understanding is that Mr. Gilbert got home from the war to see his home in ruins and his family nowhere to be found. He finally located everyone and he and two sons built the house as it now is. It's a beautiful property!
