I had made a mistake and tried "recharging" my wool dryer balls by throwing them in the washing…read moremachine (as a few blog posts state to do!) however, whether by user error (me..) or by actual fact (like, are you not supposed to wash wool?) 4 out of 5 of our wool dryer balls completely fell apart and basically disintegrated during the wash cycle which I did not discover until i went to move the dryerballs and towels into the drying machine. Lo and behold, our washing machine did not drain and there was wool dryer ball fluff everywhere... I was panicking! I'd never broken a washing machine before! So I took to Yelp and found Ronen's company and messaged them through Request a Quote. Ronen got back to me SUPER quickly and was actually able to come the day after I reached out to them. He did tell me there was an initial diagnostic fee, but it could be credited to the repair. Ronen came during the time window that he gave me, found out what was wrong with the machine, told me what the issue was and quoted me on the spot (we had a broken drain that needed to be replaced) for about ~$415 + tax. I really needed the washer fixed, so I agreed and Ronen went ahead with the fix. All in all, for someone to have come the next day to find the problem and fix it within an hour or two while causing as minimal disruption to our family's day-to-day, I'd say Ronen's price was honest and worth it! From the time I used Request a Quote to the time Ronen walked out of our unit, the communication was clear, concise, and very helpful. Will definitely be recommending Total Care Appliance Repair to any friends in Toronto that need services!

I even had to block their number and they told me to come in so they can resolve it ... I did not feel safe at all coming in in person to a hostile environment. this company is also known as "love your leather" and "love your rug". Based on other people's comments, they do a horrible job on other peoples goods and Tony will personally yell at them over the phone or in person. i paid $113 for a repair and all they gave me was a "light pampering" for my handbag, which is a cheaper service that i didn't request. i called them and was directed to kathy, who claims to be a middle manager for their customer service representative team. she was extremely rude and clearly didn't read my e-mail before she called me. she went ahead and belittled me and interrupted me so i couldn't talk. in the phone call, she said that "they did nothing to my handbag" because it was in sucuh poor condition. then why charge me and mislead me in the first place? these people are scammers. tony then calls me screaming at me and doesn't let me get a word in. never in my life have i been harassed by the owner of the company and their staff. he told me to come into the center again so we can discuss the repairs but i did not feel safe coming into their headquarters. i had to block their number because i had enough verbal abuse from their team. they deny gaslighting me and screaming at me because they claim they have footage and record the phone calls of what "really happened". they refuse to release and untampered and unedit version of all these recordings. i even mentioned that i paid for a repair and not a clean but kathy and tony insist that i was lying even though i have a physical copy of the receipt where tony signs off on it. they were refusing to give me back a full $113 refund. most of their 5-star reviews are from their staff or an incentive they give to customers if they write a positive review.

Pick this company for moving, the other Yelpers were correct!…read more Tiam is quick in response and easy to correspond with. His team mates were all very friendly, courteous and polite. They are punctual and work non stop even though I kept asking if they need to break for lunch and offered water and snacks! I thought I packed well(proper bins and HD boxes) and the move would take 5 hours but 7 hours later was normal for a 2 bedroom, 1.5 detached house. I blame the garage/shed but these guys kept moving everything out and playing Tetris with the boxes until the truck fit everything in neatly, safely to the very very top. For some items they wrapped the blanket all around and taped it secure without us needing to request it. Really appreciate that attention to detail and care, despite some being IKEA furniture, they treated everything with care. They made it to new house first as we still had to tidy before leaving ourselves and we found they had started unloading the garage items already, without us having to instruct them, wow awesome! They unrolled sturdy foam rubber like mats on the hallways and stairs to protect the hardwood floor and asked for directions to move items I forgot to label or map. They even offered to stay and help us unpack or assemble if needed. Only downside which isn't a biggie was - he forgot the tablet to process the bill so it got emailed next day but I paid him all cash (credit has 3% processing fee) which makes anyone nervous there was no proof - one long tv shelf got scratched (ikea) it didn't get wrapped completely but Tiam was very apologetic and offered compensation which was appreciated I will be using this company again this year as we are doing renos and need to move stuff around one more time. Happy moving!
