From day one, the Arfordable team was fully invested in his success. We started with a 6‑week 1:1 program, but day training ended up being a better fit for my schedule. After only a few sessions, his barking habits were significantly reduced. Even with how stubborn and difficult he was in the beginning, they never gave up on him. They gave me the confidence I needed to handle him in social settings and never once made me feel discouraged. Thanks to their guidance, patience, and consistency, he even earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen, something I never imagined would be possible when I first brought him home. Fast forward to today: he lives for Playcare. He adores his best buds and his favorite aunties, and the joy he has walking through their doors says everything. We took a six week class which I felt was helpful, but he did need some basic obedience and we enrolled in that class. They taught us how to train our dog to sit , stay, wait ,place as well as learning how to go to his designated space for down and settle. I felt the instructors were excellent. I can't remember all their names, but Fab was excellent. when Rudy graduated from his class, he got a certificate and had a graduation picture taken. Right now I feel that I need to work on these basics before I enroll him in intermediate class, but when he's ready, I will definitely go back.

It can be a challenge to find a sitter to come to the northwest/Hill Country part of San Antonio, but TMAB makes it happen! Before the first visit or prior to traveling, I can schedule a meet-and-greet. As a Chihuahua and a rescue, it takes a while for Charlie to warm up to new faces. Jessica, the owner, ensures that the sitters are a match for him. They quickly learn his personality and routine. They are caring, responsive and trustworthy. Vivian has been with TMAB for a long time and now seeing Charlie. I appreciate receiving updates and photos from their quality time after each visit. From the first phone call, to the same day evaluation they worked my dogs in for, to the tour they gave me when I picked them up from the evaluation...I was very impressed. I booked their 5 night stay and knew they would be in good hands. I picked up two happy, exhausted (from daily play time) dogs following their stay at the Ranch. The staff was very friendly and seemed sad that Karli and Shiloh were leaving, which made me feel good about the time they spent there, knowing they were interacting with the staff often enough to know their names after their friest visit. I also appreciated receiving their daily report card upon check out. In DC where I recently moved from, playtime is as an extra expense, but is included here. I enjoyed the video cameras in the play pen/yard so I could check up on them and see they were OK. I also appreciated that they received a bath the morning I picked them up. My two girls will be going back to Pawderosa for boarding and probably some for day care days here and there. Thanks for a great experience from a doggie mom new to the area.

I then called and was told ¨Oh yeah she had a couple treats and because YOU bring food that needs to be kept cool we forgot to feed her¨ For three years we have fed her Fresh Pet when we bring her to day care. This totally throws off her feeding for the day. She cannot eat after 7:00pm for she takes Oral Vet for dental and cannot eat after taking this. I was also told ¨well our Mang. knows this¨ Next day care day I told them she is going for free since YOU did NOT provide her basic needs.
