After only a few sessions, his barking habits were significantly reduced. Even with how stubborn and difficult he was in the beginning, they never gave up on him. They gave me the confidence I needed to handle him in social settings and never once made me feel discouraged. Thanks to their guidance, patience, and consistency, he even earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen, something I never imagined would be possible when I first brought him home. Fast forward to today: he lives for Playcare. He adores his best buds and his favorite aunties, and the joy he has walking through their doors says everything. We took a six week class which I felt was helpful, but he did need some basic obedience and we enrolled in that class. They taught us how to train our dog to sit , stay, wait ,place as well as learning how to go to his designated space for down and settle. I felt the instructors were excellent. I can't remember all their names, but Fab was excellent. when Rudy graduated from his class, he got a certificate and had a graduation picture taken. Right now I feel that I need to work on these basics before I enroll him in intermediate class, but when he's ready, I will definitely go back.

It can be a challenge to find a sitter to come to the northwest/Hill Country part of San Antonio, but TMAB makes it happen! Before the first visit or prior to traveling, I can schedule a meet-and-greet. As a Chihuahua and a rescue, it takes a while for Charlie to warm up to new faces. Jessica, the owner, ensures that the sitters are a match for him. They quickly learn his personality and routine. They are caring, responsive and trustworthy. Vivian has been with TMAB for a long time and now seeing Charlie. I appreciate receiving updates and photos from their quality time after each visit. I then called and was told ¨Oh yeah she had a couple treats and because YOU bring food that needs to be kept cool we forgot to feed her¨ For three years we have fed her Fresh Pet when we bring her to day care. This totally throws off her feeding for the day. She cannot eat after 7:00pm for she takes Oral Vet for dental and cannot eat after taking this.
