I was in town visiting family and for some high-stakes business meetings. I came in to Celeste Spa carrying a lot of tension and left feeling genuinely restored -- lighter, clearer, and completely relaxed. The atmosphere alone is restorative, but combined with Gloria's skill and warmth it becomes a truly exceptional experience. She has an angelic energy unlike anything you'll find at a chain spa or a cookie-cutter wellness center. You can feel she genuinely cares for her clients. If you're in the Boynton Beach area and looking for a spa that goes beyond the surface and actually nourishes your spirit too -- this is the place. Highly recommend the deep tissue massage with the foot reflexology.

If I could give the Celeste Day Spa a rating of minus 5 I would…read more Today I went for a Swedish massage, and it was AWFUL. To me a Swedish massage consists of long gentle strokes with a firmness that you ask for, and I received none of that. The person who performed a 'massage' me had her hands hurry along my back in a flurry of movements - back and forth in a haphazard way without any order. So I did a ChatGPT when I got home on what a proper Swedish massage is and this is what it said: 'Effleurage - long, smooth, gliding strokes to warm up muscles and relax the body Petrissage - kneading and rolling motions to release tension and improve circulation Friction - deeper, circular movements to break up knots and adhesions Tapotement - rhythmic tapping or percussion (such as cupping or chopping) to stimulate muscles Vibration - gentle shaking or trembling to loosen muscles and calm the nervous system Swedish massage is often used for stress relief, relaxation, improved flexibility, and general wellness, making it one of the most popular massage styles, especially for first-time massage clients. ' I HAD NONE OF THAT and when I asked her to 'slow-down' many times, she did not and told me that I knew nothing and called me A WITCH and said that several times. After 15 minutes of asking her to do a PROPER massage, she again INSULTED me and said that I should leave and gave me my money back ALL THE WAY CALLING ME EVIL NAMES. At least I got my money back but as a CAUTION to you: DON'T GO THERE.

First time visit and the receptionist Nicole, was very professional when making my appointment and…read morevery knowledgeable of all the services and products that are available at this establishment. The reception area was very clean and had a beachy feel to it. However, it was not the easiest place to find abecause the number is kind of tucked away in the right hand side of the building. Another con is the fact that it is a very small space. When you first walk into the treatment area, there are two reflexology chairs to the right facing the same direction, so you couldn't even sit side-by-side with a friend and talk. Also, the two massage tables are separated by a very thin screen which does not make for a totally relaxing environment because you can hear everything that's going on. I literally could hear somebody getting their legs done with a dry scrub. These rooms need to be just that, their own rooms with total peace and quiet so you can just drift away while listening to the overhead music. On the plus side, my therapist Gina, did an exceptional job with my 90-minute massage! She was very professional and made sure I knew that I could speak up at any time in regards to too little or too much pressure. Although, I felt really good leaving there, I would have liked a little more consistency with a deep tissue pressure. My massage was in between a Swedish and a deep tissue. That aside, she is an exceptional therapist and she and Nicole are the reason as to why I gave it a higher rating. It should also be known that their introductory prices come with a 45 day time frame to go through every single one of them. I paid $55 for the 90-minute massage.

Rhonda is my go to for facials as she's literally one of the BEST local estheticians. She does a superb job and I actually relax enough to fall asleep during her facials. On this particular visit, my go to massage therapists weren't available due to the fact neither work on Sundays. At Rhonda's recommendation, I booked my massage with Stephen (sp?) which turned out to be a solid choice. He did a fantastic job gauging my needs and delivering a deep tissue massage without me needing to remind him about the pressure. Moreover, he was both kind and professional. I wouldn't have any reservations about utilizing him for future massages. Finally, they're offering a variety of Mother's Day specials through the end of the month. Unfortunately, over my last five visits, the quality of service has declined significantly, and my most recent experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to leave a review. My girlfriend and I booked a couples massage for 3:00 PM. We arrived early at 2:50 PM, but were left waiting for approximately 20 minutes before our session actually began. Despite the delayed start, the massage still ended at 3:50 PM, meaning we did not receive the full hour of service that we paid for. One of the small touches we always enjoyed after our massages was being able to choose a complimentary beverage. We have consistently chosen the red wine option because it's something we look forward to at the end of our sessions. Unfortunately, even that simple detail was incorrect during this visit. The biggest issue, however, was the massage itself. I always book a deep tissue massage because I work out six days a week and have lingering back issues from playing college football. I rely on deep tissue work for recovery and pain relief. This session felt nothing like a deep tissue massage. Honestly, it felt as though lotion was simply being rubbed onto my skin with very little pressure or therapeutic work being done. I left feeling exactly the same as when I walked in. In fact, I was so unsatisfied that I immediately started calling other massage establishments in the area to see if I could get another appointment that same day because I received virtually no benefit from this session. I am not someone who complains often, and I am usually a very generous tipper when I receive good service. This was one of the few times I have ever left without tipping because I genuinely felt that neither my girlfriend nor I received the experience we paid for. It's disappointing to see how much this place has changed. What was once a reliable and enjoyable experience has become consistently frustrating. Based on my recent experiences, I cannot recommend spending your time or money here. There are better options in the area that will provide the service and value you expect.
