I traveled from Ohio to Love 518 Salon in Miami, Florida to have my severely matted hair detangled. Hadassa (the owner) is amazing! I had been watching her detangling videos on YouTube and Instagram for months, and I was so impressed with her work. Over the course of 3 days and over 19 hours, Hadassa did a hair detox, completely detangled my hair, colored my hair, and did a keratin treatment. I didn't think my hair could be saved, but Hadassa did it! With the exception of split ends, she didn't even have to cut my hair. She's so good at what she does. Hadassa was so patient, calming, and understanding. I pray that God blesses her with good health, prosperity, and the continued growth of her business . Her assistant Marleen is wonderful, too. Awesome Experience!!! I had my hair braided for about 5 months and it started to matter and I just could not take my hair out and was about to cut it. Then I saw her video on YouTube. Learned she was only 20 minutes away. Booked her right away and she was polite, non judgmental, and gave me an hair detox on my 4c hair. And gave me an keratin treatment as I wanted to retain my hair but make it more tame-able. My hair felt very soft but strong and resilient and I feel my hair went to an 4b and still felt lovely. I got a blow out and silk wrap. My hair is now straight which should last about 4-6 weeks before it reverts back but I now have shoulder length hair which looks thick for the first time ever! Since the passing of my late wife I've struggled with maintaining the proper routine for my daughters hair. I absolutely loved the entire experience. From beginning to end. The parking is pretty easy. Hadassa met me outside and showed me to the salon. It is an individual room. So you are there just you and her. She has decorated that salon with great taste. Even the coffee was delicious. Then was the consultation. She did an amazing job with the hair cut.
