Called them up they were able to squeeze us in the same day because they had some cancelations. Had it done in a few hours. Picked it up and left it out in the sun to help it cure. Looked better later that afternoon because it had to have the water evaporate from behind the tint. They use Suntek tint which is one of the better tints out there. Highly recommended will be back if we buy another new car. Friendly staff. Shop has a waiting room.

But in the past, it's always been replacing a windshield (or a side window since) and I've never used their "repair" feature until today. In a recent trip a stone hit my windshield on the highway and created a chip, which spread into a very small crack. My understanding is their threshold is the entire damage must be the size of a quarter or less, which it was. I was able to book a same day appointment, went in, and they took a look and told me it shouldn't be an issue. The quoted me 45 minutes, and I was out the door in about 20 minutes. Once again they did a fanatic job, quick and friendly service, and now the chip and crack is not even noticeable. Every situation may be different, but I continued to have nothing but positive experience with Safelite having used them in several different states (including once while away from home traveling).
