Generally, I am not a big fan of all you can eat sushi. A restaurant can cut costs in many areas, but raw seafood is probably one area where the risks could potentially outweigh the savings. Anyway, Lounge 8 delivers in a good way, although not necessarily with sushi. While the tuna and salmon sushi options were good, the eel was weak, as was the selection of other fish. However, the quality of both the tuna and salmon sushi and sashimi was quite good, especially for the price (23 euros for all you can eat). The cooked dishes ranged from very good to nasty. The honey chicken was very good, as well as any sort of shrimp that is fried. The beef and lamb skewers were also very good but the duck was nasty. The pan fried sole was also a hit with the table. Anyway, lounge 8 is a good value in a nice space that was previously occupied by a club - Liquid. Instead of dance music, they blast the lounge music. But the food is pretty good if you order carefully, and it's a good place to kill a couple of hours with an all you can eat option. read more
