Their drink prices are really affordable making me inclined to try more drinks. We love their vodka and bought a bottle to take home! I get their vodka sprite. It's simple but I enjoy the refreshment of it. They have domestic beer if you're not into the mixed drinks, too. I really hope they get a sign out front soon! I've talked to a lot of people who have no idea it's open. One would be great on 171 for people driving by. I'm surprised every seat isn't filled (yet), but hopefully a sign could help. This is a GREAT addition to the Ft. Polk/Leesville area... everyone should enjoy!

Stop by the distillery with my family driving between Lake Charles and. Aton Rouge. It's off the…read morefreeway, but with construction it takes a bit of effort to reach. Plenty of parking and great, new facility. We missed the tour, buy I think it was $10 and includes tasting. We paid $5 for the tasting and at 10am we were the only ones at the distillery. We got to try all 7 rums. They are made on site and almost all their flavorings are local, e.g. Satsuma grown locally. The rums aren't super sweet like Bacardi and had some depth. I enjoyed their spiced rum, think less sweet Captain Morgan's. We bought a couple of bottles, about $18 each. The staff was really friendly and nice. They double-bubble wrapped our bottles for easy shipping in luggage. The bottles came in super cute bags that can double as gift bags. Nice bathrooms. They also bottle and sell a whiskey for another distillery. I think it was Kentucky Owl.

Also she sped through the tasting at the end. More time was needed between items to ask questions and enjoy the different tastes of the rums. We tried to purchase a couple of bottles but the 3 girls ignored us so we walked away and purchased the rum cheaper elsewhere.
