While we were waiting for food, we came here and my daughter got to play. This playground is incredible. It has a small play set on one side for toddlers and on the another side was for the older kids. The playground had a foam like ground which made it safe in my opinion. The playground is big enough to spread out and there is a sign with a capacity limit even though technically there is no one there to enforce it. Everyone still follows the rules I'd say. The play ground is very cool and has something that every kid would like . We can't wait to come to this park every time .

This is probably one of the best playgrounds in SF…read more After my sons doctors appointment we decided to go to a playground in the area and this one of the closest and highest rated in the area, so we popped on in. We also had his behavioral therapist with us and she spoke highly of this playground. They have a tiny area for smaller kids under 5 which includes a sandbox with toys folks in the area "donated" or left behind. My little boy was in love with the sandbox area. There's another huge play structure for bigger kids and lots of benches and shaded areas for parents and nannies to hang out and unwind while the kids play in the area. Bigger kids can also play in the basketball court. What's neat about this playground is that there are tons of toys such as bikes, balance bikes, toy structures that parents either left behind or donated. My little boy loved playing with some of those toys. There's also a multi purpose room that you can probably rent out for birthday parties etc. As well as a decent bathroom for folks to use while they're in the playground. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. It's a wonderful playground. The only negative is that it can get pretty crowded and sometimes parking is difficult but overall definitely a great place to visit.

With how it's laid out, it's picturesque and very popular with locals and visitors. On the side, there's a playground for kids. I remember coming here for Easter egg hunts when I was younger. Now, I bring my pup here occasionally for photos. Located in the middle flanked by 4 streets: California St, Taylor St, Sacramento St, and Cushman St and is reachable by car or via public transportation like the #1 California bus and the cable car - California line. If you choose to walk, you will need to hike up/ or down the hills depending on which directions you are coming from.

The entire play area is so well thought out, clean, well maintained. Restrooms are clean. Parking is plenty. It's just such a beautiful place to spend time with family and friends. There's usually a rotating coffee pop up that'll sell donuts and coffee or matcha. All delish and a cool way to learn of new cafes in the area. I've had the Salvadoran coffee pop up (can't remember the name) and what coffee Vietnamese iced coffee (yum!). Restrooms at the park are very clean, however my son has a sensitivity to noise so the bathrooms in the Sports Basement are where we go as they are quieter. Sports basement is a great place to checkout too. They have bikes you can rent for the family (the ones that ride like 6 people) and so on. Definitely check this place out when you're in the city!

Definitely something to keep in mind if you're looking for an outdoor spot to bring a group together. What I like about this area is that the setting itself is such a big part of the experience. You have space to gather and those classic San Francisco views right around you. Whether you're planning a picnic or just looking for somewhere to enjoy an afternoon, the East Meadow is worth checking out!

The park is soooo clean and this was a huge one for me. Who doesn't love a well maintained park?! The play structures are all designed really well with slides that looked like a hollowed log, wood stairs, rock climbing fixtures and more. This park often gets crowded and I understand why. My niece loves this park, she can easily kill 2 hours running around - going from the big structure to the little structure. The park also has a baseball field and picnic areas. Street parking only and a short walk to the main play area from the sidewalk.

One your belly is full and your mind is free to wander, check out the many other eclectic shops that Haight Street has to offer!
