He got new ones which were covered by insurance - although they were $300. By the end of his basketball season there were holes in the foam portions of the orthotics. I just returned from the visit where got new ones. It was a disaster! First, we waited a half hour. Then I began questioning why the new refurbish orthotics cost $150- when only the foam part was replaced. Well...Replogle became annoyed, exhaled, sat back, told me he was the doctor, and that the orthotics company is HIS company! He was cocky and rude. It was as if I broke the rules by daring to question him. (I should rip up the $150- check!) As my son and I left, we told both doctors, the receptionist, and the remaining patients that we will no longer be going to this place because of the unpleasant experience. I need to find another podiatrist - one who is willing to explain things to his patients, not gouge prices, one who doesn't own the orthotics company, and someone who does not ramble on and on about feet. I feel badly for Dr. Dittmar because we do like him. Maybe Dittmar should strike out on his own and leave Replogle!

My primary dr suggested LI Bone & Joint. I had a 1:00 PM appointment. If you know me I'm always early for appointments so I'm in by 12:30. I fill out all necessary forms and wait, and wait. 1:30 comes and I getting ready to leave. My time is valuable too. Just then they call me in. After an interrogation I'm off for X-rays, then a second discussing with a P.A.. now Dr. Fraccia comes in. First apologizes for the long wait. I shake it off saying it's ok but he says, and get this, " it's not ok". Can you imagine a dr caring about your time. So after a talk about my knee he pulls out a huge syringe and extracts two turkey baster size tubes of fluid out. Next a shot if cortisone. I'm done. I was told by others that I would have immediate relief so I ask. He looks at me like I have two heads saying " you're kidding right". By the weekend you should start feeling better. I'm like most people I think, I don't like going to Dr's but Dr. Fraccia is a dr I'm very comfortable with. In fact I'm looking forward to my follow up visit. He is professional and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this office. BTW, they also can perform MRI, here also.
