The sites were level and fairly well maintained. The overall camp location is very large and offers a lot of sites with privacy. Some are very small and can't accommodate large vehicles or tents. Be sure to double check the pictures. The main road is well maintained but you must have a high clearance vehicle if the site calls for it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bath house was clean and standard. They were in the process of painting it during our stay. One shower is available inside by the toilets and two are available in the rear (open roof top). Camp grounds have access to MTB trails - hilly and fun. If we came back to the area we would stay here again.

Its location is perfectly situated for mountain biking and/or hiking on Lookout Mountain, the North River, and is easy driving distance from other legendary trails like Reddish Knob. Booking is straightforward and easy, although their cancellation policies could be a sticking point for people coming from a long distance on a strict time frame. The owners are responsive and communicative, and very friendly and accommodating when it comes to booking groups. The restroom/shower facilities are clean and perfectly adequate- don't expect the Ritz, but they're great if you need a shower after a hard day of riding or hiking (and you didn't visit the swimming hole for some reason that I won't even try to understand.) The cabins are also clean and cozy- they'd be perfect for a family of four who are used to camping and close quarters. The tent sites are basic, with fire pits, picnic tables at most sites, and plenty of space for a few tents and hammocks. The campground also stands out for its super fun mountain biking trails that actually run through the campground. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a young kid, you'll have fun on them. The swimming hole at the bottom of the hill is a true gem- there's nothing like going for a dip in its cool waters in the middle of the summer. I've been to Stokesville twice in the past month and am looking for the slightest pretext to go again soon.

The B&B's main room and kitchen area are uncannily accurate replicas of the interior of the Hollywood set house. The B&B has several themed rooms each with a private bath. There is also a small gift shop with cool memorabilia for sale. Carol saved the Hamner house and the legacy of Earl Hamner, Jr. -- I had to give it 5 stars but if I could, I would give it 10! This is a small farm and they keep the tour groups to just a few people. It's not some massive corporate tour so everything is very friendly and low key, not a scripted tour guide with tons of people around. You can even book the tour online via their website which is what we did. This is definitely worth the money to visit the alpacas and I'll be back again sometime.

We are coming back next week four the full 2 hour tour, including walking the alpacas on the trail. This is a must-visit in Palmyra. Even though we are all seniors, the kids will love it as well!

We hired Dennis on 4/25/15 for a Charlottesville wine tour. We started our tour at 12 noon and finished up around 5-5:30pm. We visited four wineries; Pippin Hill, Pollack, Veritas and King Family. There were three women total. We fit comfortably in his town car. The seats were very comfortable and the ride was smooth. The car was extremely clean and smelt very fresh. He provided us with complimentary bottled waters during the tour and was always prompt. Everytime I called he answered all my questions and concerns. He also returned my calls and replied to my voice message in a very timely matter. He was very flexible and allowed us to choose the wineries we wanted to visit. We had a change in plans and had to change our route around and he had no objections. This company is very reasonably price and most of the other drivers in Charlottesville don't reply back very quickly and are hard to get in touch with. I also highly recommend staying at the Hyatt Place (2100 Bond Street) hotel near The Stonefield shopping center. It's one of the newest, cleanest, and modern hotels in Charlottesville as of today. They book fast so don't wait! This hotel is also located right across the street from the brand new shopping center which is literally in walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, movie theater, nail salon, spa, yoga and other shops! It's perfect because you don't have to drive anywhere :)
