Megan was thorough and professional in explaining all of the methods she would be using. She answered all of my questions and we discussed which particular areas that needed some extra attention. The massage/accupressure itself was transcendent. I simultaneously felt both relaxed and energized. Megan is a petite lady but so strong! And also wonderfully gentle. I have been dealing with some pretty severe anxiety issues for the past year of my life. Due to…read morerunning my own businesses and a divorce, being a single dad, and several other personal issues. My anxiety had been affecting my business and personal life. I was getting to the point where I did t really want to leave my house, or be around people. I've started acupuncture with Dr Schulte and I already am feeling so much better. A lot of the physical pressure and anxiety I was feeling has been improving significantly and rapidly. We are teaming these efforts up with some of the other treatments offered at Healing Horizons. I'm noticing that about 24 hours after each appointment I'm feeling more and more revitalized and also less stressed. Although I still deal with anxiety and depression I've been able to combat these issues with a much more positive and proactive outlook. Most noticeable is that the physical affects of the anxiety are going away, and not slowly. The heaviness and sluggishness and also the feelings that I can't breath or think or move...all of the negative physical side effects of my anxiety are going away. I'm very thankful for April and her team, and I do believe they care so much about every person that walks through their doors.
