After following up with the number and being switched around to two other departments within the IRS, I was able to speak with someone who assured me that my problem was being addressed. If there was I'd give them a 0 - I sent all the documents to them - which included all the W-2's and when I had my consultation with Jarod Riggins ( arrogant - full of himself) he said I owe 30k and he would need all my W-2's - for 800 he got my transcripts and spun a tall tail of grim results - I ended up going to Ramsey - Dan Marlow - got everything file - e-file in a day and saved me money on my previously filed 2022 taxes - Lothamer is a scam - for 550 everything filed - do not owe 30k - compared to lothamer losers who stole 800 - and got my transcripts! If you're thinking of using lothamer. Stop now .!!!!! They told me 20.0000 to do a offer and compromise. They said they took care of everything. Then sent me a envelope of tax fourms. I called and said i didn't know how. They said do the best you can . I said i would come to the office and we could work together. Told them i would be there in 20 minutes. He said how could i get there in that time. I said you are in Livonia im in westland. They are in Lansing. I called and signed up believing they were in Livonia. When filing a offer and compromise. You have to send a check for filing fees 300$made out to irs. I believed we were finally getting somewhere as it had been a year and some months. Then the irs. Sent me a letter stating years were missing. That they would have to fix and resubmit. Second try they still left out a year. I called and asked how that could happen. They said that the irs was fighting . Lies. They sent it a third time. Sent back again. Missing the same year and to make things worse. The irs gives 3 tries for the 300$ filing fee. So I was out 300. One would wonder how they could get it wrong 3 times. Why. Because they want more money. Out over 20.0000 with ZERO !!!!! Results. I had to wait like 2 years to write this review. DO NOT use this company!!! They are predatory! Stopped using them after one month. They prepared two years taxes for me and charged me over $2000. So with my consultation fee , I spent over $3000 for work that would have cost me approximately $500 at any regular tax firm in your home town. Work with someone local or just deal with the IRS directly, it's really not as bad as you think. read more

This is a horrible predatory company I do not recommend this company to anyone save your self the time and money and hire real tax lawyers!!!!!!!!!! They sent some Guy posing as a lawyer to there traverse city mi location to meet with me. I was worried because I received a letter. Which wasn't as big of a deal as the over confidence and under delivering tax consultant made it out to be. To weasel me out of my money of coarse!!! He assured me these problems would go away I gave him 5 grand cash and 850$ a month to total 20 K !!!!!!!! Here I am 2 years later problem still not solved!!!! I called them and asked for consultation for an IRS audit, they asked me to pay $750 before .meeting with a CPA accountant, I made sure that the payment was for all services until the end of the claim and they confirmed. They sent me written contract on my phone to sign, and I made a mistake of not reading the fine print and singed it and paid. When going to the meeting I met with a person who wasn't a CPA accountant, not sure if he was an accountant. They mentioned during meeting that I have to pay $5000 to proceed with claim, after that I left the office and opened a dispute claim with the bank and they are stating that the $750 is for tax transcripts which you can get for $57 on the IRS website. Don't deal with them , use another firm please believe me that is actually what happened read more
