We requested it look "foresty" since our wedding was in Redwood National Park and she absolutely nailed it. She took so much stress off of me by basically designing it herself. I sent the cake topper to her from an Etsy shop and she worked with me through all of that as well! The cake was delicious, beautiful, and delivered right on time as promised. She even helped me understand how to store it and serve it for the best taste. She truly is amazing and I would get my wedding cake from her again if I had to do it all over again. the cupcakes here are totally worth 4.5 stars. the vanilla cupcake (just the cake) is a delish mix…read more the buttercream is well done too. the kids that work, are clearly not bakers and decorators. there needs to be a better system in place to work faster as well as a muchly needed pastry bag work. And the reason I only gave it three was it's so incredibly dated. I've been coming here for years and years. Like. Y E A R S ..yall got the same decor. Same super dated cupcake liners. I don't mind paying $6 bucks a cupcake if the liner is a high end dark brown craft paper. White is so cheap. that dates you. Badly. Another thing ..yoir Chocolate cupcake needs help. Too sweet. Not enough depth. Add some dark or black cocoa..bloom in coffee maybe? Salt? It def needs some help. Keeping it the same dates you as well. Your vanilla is perfection. The choc not so much. Wish you had love doctor on more. It would do well. And bring back Hawaiian honeymoon. W out the nuts it will keep your price point down. No one wants that texture contrast anyway. And lastly pls for the love of all things cupcakeries, get rid of that 1990's pink and black contrast. Just no. Again. Totally worth the money if you know what to get (steer more vanilla cupcake) and these are just my opinions. Every time I'm in KC I get a dozen..ugly pink walls and everything xx

Note: This is from some time ago, so perhaps things have changed…read more I have just visited once, at the Farmers' Market downtown. Their goods have a simple, but lovely, appearance and presentation. The cupcakes are individually wrapped, which seems a bit silly, but it's nice at the market if you aren't going to eat right away, and certainly is nice if you want to pick up a little treat for someone. I was a bit disappointed in the size of cupcake; the cake itself was fairly small, and overall was almost half-icing. I had a Maple Black Walnut cupcake. The black walnut stood out more flavor-wise, and was good. The cream cheese frosting was unexpected, but went decently well with the cake (I admit I'm not a huge fan of cream cheese frosting), though there was definitely too much for me. The ingredients are conveniently listed on the back of each wrapper, and it is nice to note that most are organic. This jives well being at the Farmers' Market.

Tasting the cake, it was clear the frosting was straight from a tub i.e. gluey, chemically, and overly-sweet. Apparently, homemade frosting isn't "cost effective" for her.
