We were greeted by a friendly hostess, who made us sign waivers. A TV playing Looney Tunes was in the lobby. When we went to the room, a TV showed us the mission and timer, while there was a button to press for clues. The top secret room was well themed and had lots of good puzzles. Some of them were challenging, and we had to ask for clues. However, sometimes it did take some time to get the clues, and we were a bit stumped figuring it ourselves. Additionally, some clues given were for puzzles we already solved. Though, once we got the clues we needed, we were able to solve the puzzles. We also had to wait 5 minutes per getting another clue, which was fair. We got very lucky to escape successfully in Top Secret, but we may have received additional time as well. The Dracula room was a bit easier, as the puzzles were more understandable and easier to solve. We didn't have to use many clues, but when we did, they were given to us a bit faster than the other room. The theming was nice and was a bit spooky, but thankfully no jump scares unlike their other horror room, horror circus. We were able to escape that room with ample time left. After finishing the rooms, the staff asked us if we had any questions regarding the puzzles, and congratulated us after escaping the rooms. There was a tone when we got each clue, as well as the staff occasionally giving it to us in character. They did a great job keeping the immersion of the rooms. We were also thanked for playing before leaving the facility. For 40 dollars per person per room after taxes, I would say it was definitely worth it for the experience. The rooms are nicely themed, the staff were friendly and mostly helpful, and the puzzles were understandable. I was also happy that there weren't many locks and most puzzles made you interact with the equipment. I'm looking forward to doing more rooms with them, maybe one day I would be brave enough to do the jump scare horror circus room.

We did the Horror Circus and Top Secret and each room is detailed to the core. No detail was left! We actually felt like we were there! Employees are super cool and helpful. I can't stop talking about how great Game Over is! If you've never done an escape room or don't like them, Game Over will make you become obsessive over them! We are obsessed and will do all of the rooms and try their other branch on 60! Seriously the best escape room in the nation!

Mouse Trap Escape is located in a small office building at the back of a large office park. Thanks…read moreto a tree blocking their entrance sign, it was really hard to find. Walking up to the entrance I couldn't help but think, how? How are they going to fit an interesting escape room concept in such a strange location? When you enter Mouse Trap Escape you find yourself in a lobby with one desk, for the game master, and a few chairs for the participants to wait for their turn. Upon arrival you are asked to sign a waiver and fill out some personal information, all done electronically. Then you wait until your entire party arrives before the game master goes through the spiel. Currently there are three room at Mouse Trap. One has, according to the game master, a 40 percent escape rate. It is modeled after a prison room on Alcatraz. A second room is a lab and a third room is a military operation rescue. These have much lower success rates (in the tens/low twenties). We chose to do the Alacatraz room. The room was very sparsely decorated. I again remember thinking how? But Mouse Trap pulled it off. For fifty-eight minutes that seemingly empty room kept us guessing. We did eventually conquer it. What I liked about Mouse Trap that I haven't run into at other escape rooms I've tried is the consequences for using a clue. At Mouse Trap you have your standard three clues. Ho hum, nothing to see here. But wait! If you choose to use a clue, their is a penalty. You lose five minutes off your time. This leads to a clue as a last resort mentality and really forces the player to try out all options before using a clue. After escaping (or not escaping) from the room there is an area at the back of the suite with lots of signs that say different things. Here you can personalize your celebratory (or lack thereof) escape room picture. Eventually, according to our game master, Mouse Trap is looking to add a party room so they can host events here. If you are in Wesley Chapel looking for a fun team building activity, give Mouse Trap Escape a try.

Again, overall pretty good experience this time we escaped with 23 seconds to spare…read more The reason that I don't give this place five stars is sometimes it takes quite a while to get a hint and this time when we did get a hint, it just confirmed something that we had already solved. When we asked Luke, who was our front desk person about it he said sometimes they are late giving the hints, because they are overseeing multiple rooms, which is why the hint that they gave was no longer helpful. Luke, however, was fantastic so shout out to him. We did the Scooby Doo escape room and overall it was pretty great. I really like how they have little signs that show when something isn't part of the game, so you don't spend unnecessary time trying to break into something that you're not supposed to. Overall, I thought all the clues worked well together and they were all different enough to keep things really interesting. We thought we were doing really well when we got into the third room with 30 minutes to spare, but that one was particularly difficult for us. The room is well themed and clean. We started right on time. Pro tip that you can get your 90 minutes validated here and if you go shopping at sprouts they validate on top of that so you can save $10 total in parking. However, I think they don't stack 90 minutes on 90 minutes, they only stack 60 minutes on 90 minutes so you can get a total of 2 1/2 hours of free parking. I do enjoy the games here so we will probably be back.
