In fact, a cop pulled me over and the first thing he asked me was, "Do you love horses?" I told him they were my life and he let me off the hook. I wasn't in Ocala or at OcalaBets for horses though. I was here for a poker tourney. After the tourney, I went to the bar and ordered some food, which was Steak Tips & Rice. It was served in a bowl that slopes downward toward you, which is always cool. If being a Pro Skater or Surfer is Cool Level 10, it always makes me feel like I'm at Cool Level 8.7, which is pretty high! And the food was delicious. I kept searching for one more grain of rice so I wouldn't be done yet, but eventually I was done. This made me sad. But then I chose to focus on the positive memories and I was happy again. The service here is strong. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Even the chef came out to say hello. The atmosphere is also a big win, but that's only if you're comfortable in a horse racing/poker environment. I would look past that anyway and go straight to the bar for food. It costs nothing to go and my meal was superb. Definitely recommended!

The people at the bar are very friendly, including a lady who has just celebrated her 35th year, though I can't recall her name. However, the establishment is very crooked, and I hope they will shut down for stealing my money. I'm curious about how many people they rob in this manner who never speak up about it. We made an inquiry online and same day, Beki called us and helped us make a reservation online for the next day. The ranch was easy to find and very beautiful when you arrive. We were greeted by Hannah who was also our tour guide. She thoroughly explained how to properly ride the horse, gave us an agenda beforehand and made sure we were safe throughout the trail. She took some awesome photos of us too. Any question I asked, she answered. Hannah was very informative, kind and patient with us. Her passion for horses illuminated the tour. So glad she was our leader! The horses, May, Marigold and Willow - wonderful. They were professional and well taken care of. The horses on the ranch are super healthy and didn't give anyone problems. They are just as happy as us guests. Can't wait to come back.
