Everything is clean and set up for fun! We enjoyed the mining experience as well as the animals We went during the winter so a lot of animals are hibernating. I'm excited to go back during spring and summer and see the changes! I hope the mining always stays open. I think it'd be a fun tradition to always do a bag of mining (you get from the gift shop) and collect "gems" and "stones" mama likes her crystals so this is a fun way to score some really pretty crystals and learn about all the different kind of rocks! This place is so nice and educational. Also was the most quiet and non-crowded zoo we've ever been too. I think we woke up the monkeys There's also a great zoo right across the street.

Had to add buying more to the growing RV needs list. The park was well maintained. The trailheads have limited parking. We drove around until we found one on trail 9. There are 14 or more trails and they seem to create a loop. We hiked 3 miles and called it a day. The trails sometimes needed better signage. I liked the vast amount of picnic areas. This park is well off the main steers creating a quiet place to enjoy. I mean, I heard speed boats during our hike, but that didn't spoil my solitude.

I also had four boys all age 14 who love fishing…read moreand Zach did a great job of getting us on fish and patiently answering all of their questions about fishing, tackle, and the lake. We caught 22 fish with the largest being 23.5" and the majority of the fish being at least 18". We will definitely be back. In fact, one of the boys wants to do another trip in a few weeks for his birthday. The company was very responsive to all emails and questions before the trip. Keep up the great work!

We did catch a couple of 1-2 ponders so I guess that meets his guarantee?? 2/3 the way through the trip our second boat breaks down. So instead of Dan coming out to tow it in they pulled our boat. So we had 7 people who did not get to fish their full time paid for. Dan was at dock and was only interested in the broken boat. Did not talk with us about lost time or guarantee. Just looked at my guide and said "well I gotta go" and left. I have fished with guides in several states and countries. Dan Barnett rates among the lowest. Would not recommend him to anyone.
