The school has a preschool and makes the transition to Kindergarten SO much easier which helps children start learning sooner since they don't have as long to get over being in a new environment. Since before school and after school care is onsite it makes it much more comfortable to kids to stay after school if parents need the extra care. During COVID this school was one of the very few that kept kids engaged and didn't let them fall behind. I saw so many other schools have kids that are a year or two back because of COVID, but CCS did an amazing job to continue education and keep things as normal as possible. The principal has introduced so many sports and clubs with the help of staff. The community of parents and teachers has been what I had always hoped to have. I HIGHLY recommend this school.

At the very beginning of the month my daughter was suspended for behavior even though I believe the teacher mishandled the situation. I decided to pull her from the school since it was her last month and I was told I would be refunded for the tuition I paid for May, nearly $1,200 since she only attended 2 days that month. When my follow up calls weren't actively being ignored I was told by office staff that the director Kris handled financing and would call me back. This went on for months before I gave up on being refunded. Months later I'm still upset with how they handled the situation. They discussed my personal information with my family who also had a child enrolled and even issued her a partial refund when she parted ways early, but not me. I feel disrespected by the situation and because of that I would never recommend this daycare to anyone I know personally.

A Warning to Parents: Our Traumatizing Experience at PVCS…read more As an associate marriage and family therapist, I never thought I would encounter such a neglectful and dismissive environment in a school setting -- especially one that claims to operate under Christian values. For several months, my daughter was subjected to repeated physical and emotional harm by another student in her class. She came home with glue in her hair, sand in her mouth, and bruises on her body. Despite numerous attempts to alert her teachers and administrators, including Mrs. Wilson -- the school's principal -- no meaningful action was taken to protect my child or address the behavior. When I attempted to speak calmly with the parent of the other child, I was dismissed and deflected. I approached the teachers, including a daycare staff member whose training and experience appeared insufficient for the role, and received minimal acknowledgment. At no point did I demand the child be expelled -- I asked only for accountability and protection. Instead, my concerns were reframed and misrepresented by the administration. I ultimately made the decision to withdraw my daughter, and she is now thriving in public school. She no longer returns home in tears or covered in bruises. She is safe, learning, and happy. In my professional opinion, the school failed in its duty of care. It seemed more concerned with image management than the well-being of its students. There was also a troubling pattern of older children -- including a second-grade boy who repeatedly displayed aggressive behavior -- being allowed unsupervised or inadequately supervised access to younger students, including kindergarteners. These decisions put many children at risk. Several other parents I know made the difficult decision to remove their children as well. We were all met with the same pattern: avoidance, minimization, and spiritual language used to deflect responsibility. It pains me to write this about a religious institution. But in my experience, it is precisely behind religious language and rhetoric that some of the most egregious forms of gaslighting and inaction are allowed to persist. If you are a parent considering this school, I urge you to ask direct questions about their conflict resolution processes, staff qualifications, and discipline procedures. Make sure your child's safety is prioritized -- not just spoken about, but truly upheld.

if i could leave 0 stars i would. if you have a kid to enroll in school. i would look elsewhere…read more terrible staff. terrible communication. my step daughter wanted nothing to do with her bio mom the school staff cornered her in the health office and allowed her mom to corner her as well for 2 hours after school was let out. my step daughter was crying screaming and even told police that she didn't feel safe and wanted to come home with me. her mom was dragging her to the car against her will and when i went up to my steph daughter who was SCREAMING. her mom pushed her in the office in which the principal VERONICA SALARZONO locked me out of the office where my step daughter was crying for me.. again this was 2 hours after school let out, and they take bio moms side for everything bevause she used to work there. we ended up unenrolling her. because of this incident, my daughter missed an important dr appt. which i told the front staff ROBIN about and she proceeded to laugh. completely unprofessional. another incident that happened a couple days ago was my other stepdaughter was choked by a classmate. i called the office and they told me for 2 day i would get a call back about the situation. on the third day i finally went into the office personally and told them i was not notified and the school said they had no need to notify me. not to mention they didn't even know about it until her bio mom called the school. i told them i didn't understand that when we have 97% custody why wouldn't you inform the primary custodial parent? i was then asked to leave. if you want your kids to be unsafe then pick this school bevause i guarantee you will have problems. especially if you're a split household. i told my daughter if any kids choke her or put their hands on her and she asks them to stop and they don't, then she has full permission to defend herself. i told her she doesn't need to involve school staff and that i will handle if she were to get in trouble for defending herself. the lack of care and compassion from all the staff is incredibly disappointing. i used to love it there and so did my kids but now since their bio mom got a job there even with being on probation for DUI my kids feel as if they're held hostage at school and the staff don't care about them. totally disappointed in the way they handle their situations and question the people they are hiring. are they doing appropriate background checks. obviously she shouldnt be around children if she only has her own kids 3% of the time... just a thought.

Cares more about reputation and popularity. Does not handle conflict well at all. Plays favorites. Completely bias. Takes rumors and uses them against attacked individuals and runs them down ( the admin, teachers and head master). They boast about "my teachers can do no wrong, I have known These people for many years!" Leaving you wondering how many others they have said that to. When you stand there afflicted they tell you they have never had this happen. Its clearly false. They say "I know that family so they must be right". Them and theirs can do no wrong. This school should be held accountable but I do not believe they ever will be. Its an absolutely terrible place. If you don't bow down to them no matter what, you will be rode out the door based on lies, rumors, gossip, slander, favoritism. The people they have compassion for are the people they "know" or people with money. They pick on the weak, trust me, they will leave you speechless, unable to stand up for yourself or your kid, and will not use proper context when they create a file. Terrible ungodly place. Fake Christians. Judgmental and dishonest. My son like every kid is not perfect. But he was not discipled or cared for. They are absolutely disorganized and do not have any good way to handle conflict. They do not right their wrongs because they can do no wrong. Unhealthy, fake Christians.
