The fish there is very fresh as the owner brings the fish fresh from Veracruz. This is the second location and is a more refined restaurant with table cloths and napkins. The other location are table with plastic table cloths. Both a a great selection of fresh seafood. The octopus with hint of garlic is a top choice. My other choice is their fresh snapper grilled. Be aware that their shrimp broth which is very tasty is also very spicy. Be sure to order a cup as a bowl will be too much to enjoy the seafood main course.

Service was also great! The food truck is very close to the VW plant, across the freeway directly behind the City Express Hotel. We enjoyed the food so much at the food truck we decided to visit the main restaurant on the "Recta a Cholula" with a large group of friends. We made reservations and our table awaited our arrival. Being Sunday "El Negro Mandingo" had a live band playing Cuban music. The seafood was fresh, fantastic and portions very ample. Chef Mauricio Pulido is a seafood genius! No wonder it was packed. Every single person of our group of 10 was extremely happy with their selection and raved about their selected dish. Great fun, great food, would highly recommend!

Tacos for starters are great options, I would go with "chiludo", "demandado", or just fish / shrimp. I usually try tacos only, but for entrees I would suggest Pacifico shrimp, Mi Gusto Es shrimp, or Molcajete. Octopus and fish fillets are also excellent choices. The only downside is that sometimes paying with credit cards can be slow due to signal loss. Desserts are not that good.
