I had an excellent meal at "El Negro Mandingo" food truck the other day…read more Despite its humble food truck setting the food was spectacular, super fresh seafood and absolutely delicious. Service was also great! The food truck is very close to the VW plant, across the freeway directly behind the City Express Hotel. We enjoyed the food so much at the food truck we decided to visit the main restaurant on the "Recta a Cholula" with a large group of friends. We made reservations and our table awaited our arrival. Being Sunday "El Negro Mandingo" had a live band playing Cuban music. The seafood was fresh, fantastic and portions very ample. Chef Mauricio Pulido is a seafood genius! No wonder it was packed. Every single person of our group of 10 was extremely happy with their selection and raved about their selected dish. Great fun, great food, would highly recommend!

Me gusta mucho este lugar. Las porciones son generosas y siempre quedas satisfecho. Recomiendo el coctel de camarones muy bueno y aunque no lo creas te vas a llenar sólo con eso. El precio me parece bueno con bebida te gastas aproximadamente 200 si es que comes mucho. Es un lugar que se llena mucho así que llega temprano. read more

La Ola es sin duda el mejor restaurante en cuanto a mariscos se refiere. El cocktail de camarón, las empanadas de camarón y camarón al mojo de ajo entre otros acompañados de un agua fresca o cerveza son buenísimos. Un restaurante donde se encuentra el sabor del buen marisco guisado al estilo jarocho. Buena atención pero podría ser mejor. Hay mucha gente y poco espacio para comensales. Recomiendo el caldo de robalo y el filete relleno de mariscos. Los camarones enchipotlados sólo para crudos. read more
