Overall: A relaxed, flavorful gem with authentic Mexican and Salvadoran classics that make it a must-visit for comfort food lovers. Whether you're stopping by for pupusas, a burrito, or a hearty plate meal, Los Panchos delivers plenty of delicious reasons to return.

Our service was veryyy slow. We came in on a Sunday around 8 and we waited almost an hour for our food. However, the food was delicious. We all loved our pupusas. It tasted very authentic and fresh. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

Came here back here in October. Service was practically non-existent. There was no one to seat us and our waitress didn't even bother bringing us the check even though we asked for it. After waiting for at least ten minutes, we ended up waiting at the cash register and lining up to pay. Note there is a credit card transaction fee which was made known beforehand. Food-wise, the revueltas were very good but the lorocco pupusa and the sopa de pollo were quite bland. The ambiance was festive and vibrant. Just wish the service had been more attentive.

Yuca con Chicharon, Platanos Fritos, Pupusas con Queso y Loroco and a bowl of Sopa de Res.

Had dinner here on a Saturday night at about 7pm, got a table right away. We started off with Yuca con Chicharon and Platanos Fritos. Both were very fresh. Than we order some Pupusas con Queso y Loroco and a bowl of Sopa de Res. The pickle cabbage and salsa for the papusas were very good and fresh. The beef soup is one of the best I had and came with 2 nice pieces of tender beef. The service was great and the price is even better for great tasting food!!

This is my go-to spot for fresh hand made pupusas in San Francisco. The dough is perfectly made, the pupusas are perfectly cooked with oozing cheese and crispy bits. I also love their Sangria. It's one of my favorites. Recently I drank an entire pitcher of the Sangria on my own it was just that good. :) I took a ride share home of course. They also have tasty chips and salsa. **Pro tip, get extras to take home and reheat in your cast iron and get them nice and crispy the next day!

Back in the days I lived 2 blocks away from here. My mother & I used to eat here every now & then. It's been awhile. So when I got off work, I was in the neighborhood and was thinking about what to eat for dinner. Then Los Panchos came to mind. Had to get the Chicken enchilada suiza(my personal favorite), sopa de res, sopa de Pollo, pupusas, chips & salsa (I love the salsa!!!) I love this place cause it's like a home cooked meal, satisfying! (And "I" didn't have to cook! SCORE!)

Some of the best pupusas I've had in awhile! Everything was perfect. The broth was delicious and the vegetables in the caldo de res was flawless. their salsa isnt spicy but it had great flavor. The agua fresca de fruta was the best! Even gave me a spoon to pickout the fruit. Love the decorations...can't wait to come back

We got papusas. There were good. I like the pork one the most. The staff was nice, and so are the prices.

Cozy neighborhood spot with the most consistent plantains I've ever had in the city. Everyone there makes me feel at home.

Everything was so fresh and delicious! I will definitely return to this place when I'm back in SF! Went to this place with my partner who was raving about their garlic and mushroom pupusa's so you bet I had to try it. We both ended up getting the combo number one; I got mushroom and garlic and beef, and my partner got mushroom and garlic and chipotle. I definitely love the mushroom and garlic better than the beef. I think I was expecting more flavor from the beef, but it was still very good. Of course all of the sides were really good to dip the pupusa's in. I want to try all the other pupusa's next time. The place was pretty small. It is a very popular place so I expected it to be packed; it was when me and my partner came in. The place is right next to a club so throughout the dinner a lot of people from the club were coming in. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for late night bite for a good price.

Unlike many places that serve greasy pupusas, these are nicely made and not greasy. We usually order takeout since the dining area is small unless you go early. Parking can be a headache, but I've always managed to snag a spot (knock on wood). The staff are friendly, and we always leave full and happy!

I'd give them about a 3.5 out of 5. On a good day, they come out with that perfect golden-brown finish. On a bad day, they look and taste undercooked to the point where I've had to throw them back on the stove at home just to make them edible. The ambiance doesn't do much to help. It's your typical Mission-style Latin restaurant, kind of sticky and worn-in, but in a way where you can't quite tell if it's part of the aesthetic or just a lack of upkeep. Now, let's get into why this leans closer to a one-star experience. The staff consistently come off like they'd rather be anywhere else. They don't smile and often come across as rude. Timing is basically a suggestion here. If you place a takeout order, plan well ahead, at least 45 to 60 minutes before pickup. Every single time I've called, I've been told 25 to 30 minutes, only to arrive and wait another 15 to 20 minutes. Without fail. And in a neighborhood where parking is already a headache, with limited meters and tight timing, you'll feel that delay. Your patience will absolutely be tested. Don't say I didn't warn you. Update: Today's order included a hit inside the cheese mixture of the Pupusas. Disgusting.

My first visit there I wasn't sold on their pupusas but when their brick and mortar location here opened up I went again to see how it was since I love pupusas and now they are in my regular rotation. The space is big and service is friendly with the free coffee (which I don't actually drink since I'm not a coffee guy). While it's not the fastest, the food is terrific so I am fine waiting for my delicious pupusas! I usually get the pork, bean and cheese pupusas which are really good but mixed it up last time and got the jalapeno and cheese ones but felt like there wasn't quite enough cheese in those so I'll prob just go back to the pork, bean and cheese ones since they seem more balanced.
