The proprietor is Mexican, and she and her staff are very friendly and personable. Among the offerings are huaraches, quesadillas, hand-made guacamole with totopos, and of course a variety of tacos including one rich with chiplote, the cochinita with shredded pork, and one that makes use of a traditional mole sauce. Can't forget the floriqueso (aka queso fundido), mead with mushrooms, peppers, beans, and of course cheese. Of course, they serve beer and tequila, and with gusto, but my partner and I were attracted to the Jarritos sodas they had available -- they aren't very common at all in Europe.

Something like some Mexican food so here I am. This place is pretty hip and fun. Strobe light, loudish music, definitely on the cool side. I sat outside as the weather was warm. I ordered the mini nachos with ground beef and a side of guacamole. More than enough for one person. I have to say it was pretty good considering we are in Spain. It's not very authentic Mexican but more Tex-Mex with chili on the nachos with black beans. At this point if I don't have bread on my table I'm happy and trust me I like bread. Just not everyday at every meal. So back to this place. It's a nice change don't expect too much and you will be pleasantly surprised and I'd bet you leave full. Note- the margaritas are frozen and on the sweet side which I never get. But they were decently doused with alcohol so I had two. I had these every time I had my gin tonic - which was almost nightly! Fun atmosphere, with a patio on the front (main restaurant/plaza view) and private patio in back (covered, lit). Tables inside also can be at the bar area, or more private in the back. Fantastic location to relax and enjoy a drink or meal.
