In the past this place has always been a staple for us, but each year we go we like it a little less. This year majority of the group was disappointed in the entire experience from the service to the food. To start, the service was lacking compared to what we get at other local restaurants nearby. Our servers did not frequently come back to ask if we needed anything and we were constantly having to ask to get our waters refilled. The drinks are good, but nothing we can't get elsewhere. Half of our group enjoyed (but not loved) their food and half did not enjoy. My SO and I split the al pastor meal. In the past we have loved this, but this time it felt like they rushed to make it and the flavors we remembered just weren't there. It was still good, but I think it could have been better. I do love the churro cart here, but you can get good churros several other places. Overall, this place has gone downhill in our opinion, and for the price it isn't worth it when there so many better options close by. I'm sure we will be back, but I think we might skip a year stopping here.

You will pass through a metal detector and asked if you are carrying in any food or drinks ( not allowed) EVENT SPACES: The groom had reserved two private cabanas overlooking a semi private pool just steps from the beach. There was ample shade provided by sturdy patio III umbrellas, private casitas, each seating 10 adults. ATMOSPHERE: Common areas are look tired in the day light. I'm sure that the flaws are masked by the pool lights once the sun sets. Our private party was at the far end of the club; a 10x14' pool flanked by patio furniture in one side and 5 private cabanas on the other. The cabanas were set up living room style with a sofa, coffee table and cabinets for personal belongings. The view from one of the casitas was oceanfront making a lovely backdrop for photos. The music was obnoxiously loud most of the time with pounding bass. Our crowd was celebrating the Grooms and they a great time. In our case, the grooms were running a tab- open bar and order from an extensive bar menu. FOOD: Well presented and the guests seemed to enjoy it. My allergies were an obstacle to most of the menu, but I enjoyed the fruit OUR SERVERS were amazing. Taking orders and finding the guests was like wrangling cats but somehow they did an amazing job. This please is really suited for a 25-40 year old crowd. You know: the clubbing set. Would I recommend it for an older group? No. Was the event successful? The grooms were pleased, so we were also.

This is one of several dinner cruises that you will find offered in Cancun. They advertise it like…read moreit is a show, but it is extremely cheesy and tacky. Basically, they have a group of performers dressed up as pirates and the captain (dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow without Disney's permission) makes random conversation making fun of his crew members, asking the audience where they are from, with simple dancing and lots of party music playing. They also play drinking games with the audience. The captain speaks in both English and Spanish so everyone is included. However, nothing he says is that interesting. It is mainly just an excuse to get everyone to drink and dance. The only part where they put a lot of effort and practice into it was a big choreographed sword fight at the end. Food was okay, though slightly limited due to being on a boat. Not recommended.

People were literally standing up eating dinner because there were not enough seats. Buffet style line.. The "show" takes place on the center of the main deck. Most people have to watch the show via TV monitors posted around the ship because there is not adequate seating in the viewing area. When we boarded the ship we were directed upstairs. We went up and discovered there were no seats. I asked the crew where we were supposed to sit, the crew member just shrugged shoulders . I was given ONE drink during the entire 3 hours. Oh, I booked on line to avoid lines . But was placed in a 45 minute line when I arrived so I could pay the mandatory 14 dollar docking fee. Why wasn't this included with my purchase?!

They will be two takeaways from this review…read more.. 1. Awesome place to drink! Great prices and tasty drinks! 2. Food was below expectations, I would consider this a bar with below average bar food. Sat down to order food but was told they don't serve food until 6P. We decided to have drinks and wait for the food. As 6P approached the waiter said maybe 7P they will start. At this point it's like pay for the drinks and try again. Ordered a Mango Daquiri which was very tasty and unique. It had tamarindo on the rim and at the bottom of the drink. Flavor was definitely there. Also ordered two Don Julio shots for 70 pesos/ea. Cost is definitely reasonable. We left, but did come back later to try the food. We ordered the beach please combo which came with fries, cheese sticks, wings, and nachos. The fries were good along with the cheese sticks. Bars usually fry food decently. Nachos were basic and just not good. The nachos were toosalty and the cheese was awful. The wings were unique, but not in a good way. We went with BBQ instead of buffalo. The BBQ wings were cooked well, but beyond sweet. It tasted like the mixed tamarindo or chile limon in the sauce to give it a Mexican Twist, but it was not enjoyable. Bad combo for wings. We were they pretty early and planned to try again later at night to see if more people actually hang out there. But never got around to it.
