The mulitas keep me coming back for more! For those who are new to the term mulita, a mulita consists of two thin hand-made tortillas, connected on one side to form a pocket. They are filled with melting cheese and the meat of your choice and are served with a variety of add-ons such as sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, chopped raw onion, grilled green onions, and salsa. What makes this place a hit, imho, is the freshness of the masa and the seasoning of their adobada meat. I have not had a chance to try their menudo but I hear it is a popular item also. I tried their cabeza tacos and tripas tacos and neither were good. The meat was over cooked and dry. The adobada, on the other hand, is very very good. I usually opt out on seasoned meats such as adobada, al pastor or chorizo because of the steong condiments; however, this adobada meat is tender and with the right amount of seasoning, by rhat I mean the seasoning is not overpowering and will not give you heartburn at the end of the day. I also enjoy their aguas frescas, the barley (cebada) is very unique it tastes like horchata but with a hint of oatmeal. I will come back and give the tacos one more chance! read more
